“​Ken Scott is A Perfectionist” Says Dhanush

After making his name in Tamil and Hindi movies, actor Dhanush, who is all geared up with his first ever English movie titled, The Extraordinary Journey Of The Fakir, says the director of the film, Ken Scott is a perfectionist.
Actor Dhanush hosted a press-conference to promote his first International Project, The Extraordinary Journey Of The Fakir, which is directed by Ken Scott, the film is based on a novel by Romain Puertolas.
It also stars Bérénice Bejo, Erin Moriarty, Barkhad Abdi, Gérard Jugnot, Ben Miller, Abel Jafri, Sarah-Jeanne Labrosse, Kay Greidanus and Amrutha Sant in pivotal roles.
Talking about working with International filmmaker, Dhanush said, “Ken Scott is a perfectionist. He is very particular about how he wants a scene and I’ve learned a lot from him. One very important thing I learned is to do the same kind of expression in repeated takes”
“You know, no matter how many takes one does, to do the same thing again and again, it is really difficult to do same thing repeatedly. That is something that I have understood and learned to do with his film” added Dhanush.
The movie features Academy Award Nominated actress Bérénice Bejo, and actor Dhanush quips she taught him a lot.
Talking about working with the actress, Dhanush said, “She is very sweet person. She was very kind and cooperative. The ease with which she portrays her character, the effortlessness is really amazing and it was really nice learning so much from her and sharing screen space with her.”
The film releases on 21 June 2019.
