Actress Alia Bhatt says that she will not analyse Kalank because it is not required, audience verdict is biggest proof, on the sidelines of Critics Choice Film Awards 2019 here in Mumbai.
Alia Bhatt was last seen in Kalank, which also starred Varun Dhawan, Sanjay Dutt, Sonakshi Sinha, Kunal Khemu, Aditya Roy Kapur, Kiara Advani, Kriti Sanon and Madhuri Dixit.
Despite such a stellar cast, with Abhishek Varman at the helm, and Dharma Productions, Nadiadwala Grandson and Fox Studios backing, the movie tanked at the box-office.
When Alia was asked about the criticism Kalank is facing, she said, “I’m not going to analyse my film because that is something not required. Audience verdict is the biggest proof for a film and when the audience does not accept a film then it should not do well. That’s just the way it is. We should accept it, come back, try and make sure they’re not disappointed next time.”
Recently, actress Kangana Ranaut and Rangoli Chandel made headlines for slamming Mahesh Bhatt and Alia Bhatt for nepotism and ill-treatment.
When asked about people attacking online and taking digs at her and family members, the young actress Alia said, “If I am mature then my family is 10 times more mature and stronger than I am. I don’t want to get into this. I just want to be happy, positive, work hard, be a better version of myself every day. I should not pay attention to what people are saying. Everyone has a right to say and what they want to say. I’ll remain quiet and this is my stand”
On the work front, Alia Bhatt will be next seen in Brahmastra opposite Ranbir Kapoor, and she is also part of RRR, which stars Ajay Devgn, Ram Charan and Jr. NTR in the leading roles.
