Angel Has Fallen – the third film in the Olympus Has Fallen film series, following Olympus Has Fallen (2013) and London Has Fallen (2016), finally unveil its first official trailer.
This one chronicles Gerard Butler as Mike Banning in a tricky situation. After the events in the previous film, Secret Service agent Mike finds himself framed for an assassination attempt on the President.
Pursued by his own agency and the FBI, Banning races to clear his name and uncover the real terrorist threat which has set its sights on Air Force One.
The official handle of Lionsgate Movies dropped the trailer on Twitter. They captioned it, “Fallen. Framed. Forced to fight for his life. #AngelHasFallen – In theaters August 23”
The third instalment is helmed by Ric Roman Waugh. The film also stars Morgan Freeman as President Allan Trumbull, along with Danny Huston, Michael Landes, Tim Blake Nelson, Nick Nolte, Piper Perabo, Jada Pinkett Smith, Lance Reddick and Antonio Bustorff.
It is scheduled to be released on August 23, 2019, by Lionsgate.
