​NGK, Biggest Opening in Suriya’s Career Says Rakul Preet Singh

Right after De De Pyaar De, actress Rakul Preet Singh has delivered another massive film, NGK, says the film’s opening has been Suriya’s biggest in his career.
NGK is a political action drama film written and directed by Selvaraghavan. The film stars Suriya, Rakul Preet Singh, and Sai Pallavi play the lead roles while Devaraj plays a pivotal role. The film was released on 31 May 2019 receiving a massive opening.
Talking about the film on the sidelines of GQ Awards, actress Rakul Preet Singh said, “NGK, the film has releases but I have not watched it yet and I will watch it soon. But the openings are amazing. I think it is Suriya Sir’s biggest opening in his career, so I am hoping that it also works.”
NGK marks the first outing of Rakul Preet with Suriya, though the actress has worked with Karthi (Suriya’s brother) in two films.
Talking about her experience working with Suriya, she said, “I have done two films with Karthi and this is my first film with Suriya Sir and it was such a lovely experience. He is such a sweet, grounded and very simple person. It was really nice working with him”
“The kind of fan following Suriya Sir has, especially in south, it is humongous and all I can say is that, every actor feels extremely grateful for all the love” added Rakul.
NGK is being produced by S. R. Prakashbabu and S. R. Prabhu of Dream Warrior Pictures.
