Varun Dhawan and Alia Bhatt have taken up the promoting responsibilities of their upcoming film 4th film together titled, Kalank.
The duo interacted with media during a promotional event at Ishq 104.8 FM on Friday. Madhuri Dixit Nene and Aditya Roy Kapur were also present at the meet and greet session.
When talking about the film’s album and when will fans get a chance to see Alia and Madhuri dancing in a song together, Alia said, “Madhuri Ma’am’s song is very special in the film. I like it so much I listen to it every morning. I listen to the whole album every morning but that is the first song I play.
It is an even bigger deal because Madhuri Maam and Saroj ma’am have collaborated for that song after years. and I was present at the moment she Saroj ma’am came to the set for the first time and their energy, when they were interacting, it was so beautiful.” she added.
Varun also revealed he enjoys listening to the song a lot, he went on to say, ‘I also listen to the song a lot. Its called ‘Tabah Ho Gaye’ and I am going to mostly listen to it when I am at the gym and I am tired after doing a lot of sets, (laughs)”
Alia later revealed the song will be out on the 9th of April. Varun taking a diss at all the delays the makers have made during events said, “We are hoping the song will be out on 9th, it is called ‘Tabha Ho Gaye’.
When asked Madhuri about the song she said, “We worked in Gulab Gang last and I think it is a beautiful song, and there is a lot heart in it because the story goes on adding more elements and emotion to it. It was amazing working with her again, we share an amazing rapport. They way she works with women it just makes them look beautiful.”
Kalank starring Alia Bhatt, Varun Dhawan, Sonakshi Sinha, Aditya Roy Kapur, Madhuri Dixit, Sanjay Dutt and Kunal Khemmu will release on 17th April. Directed by Abhishek Varman the film is produced by Karan Johar’s Dharma Production.
