Sandip Ssingh says that making the forthcoming biopic PM Narendra Modi was easy but releasing the film has turned into an ordeal, which is nothing short of “Memorable” experience of lifetime.
Actor Vivek Oberoi and producer Sandip Ssingh hosted a press-junket for the forthcoming biopic here in Mumbai, post Supreme Court verdict, which rejected the plea to deter the release on the film.
Talking about producing such a mammoth project based on current Indian Prime Minister, Sandip Ssingh said, “It was really easy to produce the film, but it has apparently becoming really difficult to release the film. The whole shooting was really nice; it was the most memorable shoot of my life. But releasing the film has also become the most memorable part of my life”
The movie marks first of its kind as the actor Vivek Oberoi, who plays the titular role is also credited for script and dialogues.
Sharing some insight into the contribution of Vivek Oberoi, producer Sandip said the writers of the film insisted on crediting the actor.
He said, “I don’t think Vivek Oberoi knew about the credits till the time trailer released, post trailer release he knew he got the screenplay and dialogue co-credit. And honestly, the writers came up to me and they urged me that it is a request to credit Vivek because he has contributed equally”
“Because the knowledge he has, we don’t have that knowledge, of either the filmmaking, politics and neither of the man, PM Modi” added Sandip.
Omung Kumar directorial film is jointly produced by Suresh Oberoi, Sandip Ssingh, and Anand Pandit. The film will release in 23 different languages on 11th April 2019
