Alia Bhatt is of the opinion that a film should only work if the audience is happy with it, she says, everyone should accept it, come back, and try again.
Alia interacted with media at the Critics Choice award where she also won the Best actor Female award for Raazi.
Alia Bhatt gave two hits back to back with Razzi and Gullyboy but her recent release Kalank faced a set back when the audience and the critics did not entertain the film at Box office.
She went on to say, “I’m not going to analyse my film because that is something not required. Audience’s judgement and verdict is the biggest proof for a film. When the audience does not accept a film, it would not do well. That’s the way it is. We should accept it, come back, try and make sure they’re not disappointed the next time.”
Kalank was Karan Johar’s dream project, set in 1940’s. Starring Alia Bhatt, Madhuri Dixit, Varun Dhawan, Sonakshi Sinha, Kunal Kemmu, Aditya Roy Kapur and Sanjay Dutt the film released on 17th April.
The total Box office collection of the film after day 5 has come up to Rs. 66 crore.
