After walking away due to creative differences filmmaker and actor Raghava Lawrence is back to helm “Laxmmi Bomb” starring Akshay Kumar, Kiara Advani and R Madhavan in the lead roles.
News was viral that filmmaker Raghava has stepped away from the forthcoming project due to creative differences, but superstar Akshay Kumar intervened and sorted the issues out, and now the south Indian filmmaker is back to helm remake Laxmmi Bomb.
The filmmaker Raghava took to his social media profile and issued a statement, thanking Akshay Kumar for respecting his feelings.
He captioned it, “Hi Dear Friends and Fans…! As you wished I would like to let you know that I am back on board as a director of #LaxmmiBomb with @akshaykumar”
The statement read, “Hi dear Friends and Fans…! As you wished I would like to let you know that I am back on board as a director of Laxmmi Bomb…A big thank you to Akshay Kumar sir for understanding my feelings and sorting all issues, another Thank you to my producer Shabinaa Khan for the same. Thanks to both for giving me respect…I am really happy to be part of the film again with Akshay Sir…Thank you all…”
Laxmmi Bomb is an upcoming comedy horror film, produced by Shabina Khan and Tusshar Kapoor and written and directed by Raghava Lawrence. The film is the Hindi remake of the 2011 Tamil film Muni 2: Kanchana.
The film is scheduled for release in 2020.
