Actor Siddharth, who is all set to share screen space with Huma Qureshi in Netflix original series, Leila, unveils a brand new teaser from the series and welcomes everyone for the tour of hell.
Netflix original series Leila is based on journalist-turned-writer Prayaag Akbar’s 2017 dystopian book of the same name. Filmmaker Deepa Mehta is the director and creative executive producer of the series.
The series is set in the near future in a surveillance state; Leila is about a mother’s search for her daughter that was taken from her.

The series stars Huma Qureshi, Siddharth, Rahul Khanna, Seema Biswas, Akash Khurana, Sanjay Suri and Arif Zakaria among others.
The series chronicles Shalini (Huma), who changes her religion after marrying Riz (Khanna), a Muslim man. They live in a near future where communities in the district live in ghettoed areas in accordance to their caste, religion and income.
Their daughter Leila, disappears at the age of three and Riz dies. Shalini, sixteen years later tries to find her missing daughter.
The six-episode series will premiere on 14 June, 2019 on Netflix.
