Young buck Adinath Kothare has been roped in to play the role of Dilip Vengsarkar in forthcoming mega sports drama based on 1983 Cricket World Cup Win, helmed by Kabir Khan.

Adinath Kothare will be seen playing the role celebrate Indian batsman Dilip Vengsarkar, who was a member of the 1983 World Champion’s team.
Expressing his excitement over bagging the role, Adinath tweeted, “Super excited to begin this new journey with @kabirkhankk and team @83thefilm!”
83 is an upcoming sports drama film directed by Kabir Khan and produced by him in collaboration with Madhu Mantena and Vishnu Induri.
The film is presented by Reliance Entertainment. The film stars Ranveer Singh, Jiiva, Pankaj Tripathi, Tahir Raj Bhasin, Saqib Saleem, Chirag Patil and may more, reprising the India national cricket team that won the 1983 Cricket World Cup as the film is based on India’s win in 1983 Cricket World Cup.
