&TV is good to go to bring alive the magical, mysterious tales of King Vikram and the fascinating spirit Betaal again, through Vikram Betaal Ki Rahsya Gaatha. The show is slated to go on air on October 16, every Monday – Friday at 8pm. Produced by Peninsula Pictures, the show expects to present the untold story among Betaal and Bhadrakaal and the repercussions of their of their starkly opposite ideologies, through illustrations. The show portrays the tussle between the good and evil showcasing the quest of the wise King Vikramaditya to locate the insightful apparition Betaal as tested by the malice Bhadrakaal. The wily Betaal has recognized that it is just bold King Vikramaditya who can cause the ruin of the dim Bhadrakaal.
Actor Ahem Sharrma will essay the role of righteous King Vikramaditya. Theater and film on-screen character, Makarand Deshpande will venture into the shoes of the clever Betaal, while the character of Bhadrakaal will be played by veteran on-screen character, Sooraj Thapar. The show brings together Ishita Ganguly, Amit Behl, and Sonia Singh among others.
