Shoot For ZEE5 ORIGINAL ‘Naxalbari’ Starts In GOA

Corona has hit the nations worldwide, but everybody is resuming back by following stringent safety measures. Many TV shoots have also resumed in parts of Mumbai and now shoots for web series are also gearing up. The team of ‘Naxalbari’ ZEE5’s upcoming original has also started as the team shoots in GOA.

Sharing the news about the same, the official handle of ZEE5 wrote, “A story that needs to be told knows no hurdles. Shooting begins for #Naxalbari under tough circumstances. Thank you @Gseamsak @arjunbaran @RK1610IsMe @TinaaDattaa @ofc_sreejita @narayanishastri @ali_aamir @satyadeepmisra .You guys are the real heroes! #ThokKeBadla”

The shoot for the show has started in Goa with stringent safety measures. Actor Satydeep Misra shared a glimpse of the same on his instagram account.

‘Naxalbari’ comprises of eight episodes which will showcase the fictional account of the protaganoist’s fightback against a red uprising. Rajeev Khandelwal who plays the lead in the show will essay the role of a cop who is up against all odds to save the day. It is a race against time for him to save his country.

The action packed series will witness an interchange between the metrocities and dense jungles of Maharashtra that have become breeding grounds for Naxal Systems. The show will deal with the issue that has been around for decades and it will offer something new to the audience.

Rajeev Khandelwal will head the show as the lead. The show will also feature Tina Datta, Sreejita Dey, Satyadeep Misra, Aamir Ali in prominent roles. The show is being produced by GSEAMS (Arjun Singgh Baran and Kartik D Nishandar).

Actress Neha Sharma and Bigg Boss 13 winner Sidharth Shukla have teamed up for video song titled Dil Ko Karaar Aaya, the first look of the same is out and fans cannot keep calm.

Actress Neha Sharma took to her social media profile and dropped the first look poster of the song. On the poster, Sidharth is seen sporting white shirt and pants, while Neha looks gorgeous in an off-shoulder top paired with a furry skirt. Pink lips and dewy make-up, Neha let her hair loose. The forthcoming song is crooned by Neha Kakkar and produced by Anshul Garg of Desi Music factory.

Sidharth Shukla was last seen in a music video, Bhula Dunga, with his Bigg Boss 13 housemate Shehnaaz Gill. The music video has more than 73 million views on YouTube.

Dil Ko Karaar Aaya song has been shot in Della Resorts, Khandala, Maharashtra and is directed by Sneha Kohli. Music has been composed by Rajat Nagpal while lyrics are penned by Rana.

Since the war drama movie ‘Bhuj: The Pride of India’ is making rounds, fans are eagerly awaiting to know more about it. Actor Ajay Devgn today shared the first look of Sonakshi Sinha from the film. Unveiling the look Ajay depicted the role of Sonakshi as Sunderben Jetha Madharpaya from the film. He also stated that the crucial history will reveal soon on Disney + Hotstar Multiplex.

Bhuj: The Pride of India is set against the backdrop of the Indo-Pak war in 1971. In the movie, Ajay Devgn essays the role of Squadron Leader Vijay Karnik who persuaded 300 women from a village in Madhapur in Gujarat to reconstruct the air-strip during the war so that Air Force officers could land safely.

Sunderben Jetha Madharparya, played by Sonakshi, helped Vijay and got the runway constructed.

The film, helmed by Abhishek Dudhaiya and produced by Bhushan Kumar, stars Sanjay Dutt as Ranchordas Svabhai Ravari ‘Pagi’ and Rana Daggubati as Lt Colonel of Madras Regimen.

Parineeti Chopra plays the role of an Indian spy in the movie. Ammy Virk, Sharad Kelkar and Pranitha Subhash will also be seen in pivotal roles.

Just yesterday, Netflix India dropped confirmation of 17 originals, films and web-series, and now makers of Ginny Webs Sunny are out with first official motion poster, featuring Vikrant Massey and Yami Gautam.

Ginny Weds Sunny is a romantic comedy film starring Yami Gautam and Vikrant Massey as the titular characters, Ginny and Sunny, respectively. It is directed by debutant Puneet Khanna and produced by Vinod Bachchan.

Vikrant Massey took to his social media profile and dropped the dazzling motion poster of the movie and expressed his excitement. He captioned it, “A match-maker by profession, this mother is determined to write a fairy tale love story for her daughter who clearly has other plans. The movie’s official synopsis reads, “Ginny, living with her matchmaker mom in Delhi, gets set up with Sunny, who has given up on the idea of love and just wants to get married and settle down. However, the match is not that simple, and as Ginny meets Sunny, a lot more comes to the fore than previously imagined in this tale of love, life, weddings and music.”

The audience will get to see how Sunny, after being turned down by Ginny, will not budge, rather team up with her mother to win her over.

National Award-winning filmmaker’s Prakash Jha’s next film titled Pareeksha: The Final Test will get a direct-to-digital release on Zee5. The film, which stars Priyanka Bose, Adil Hussain, Sanjay Suri, and child artiste Shubham Jha was screened at the 50th International Film Festival of India (IFFI).

Inspired by real events, Pareeksha is the story of a rickshaw puller named Buchchi, who dreams of giving his son a good education. The lengths to which he goes to make his dream a reality form the rest of the story. The film makes a sharp comment on our education system.

Netflix India Drops Names Of 17 Upcoming Originals

Since yesterday there was a big buzz around Netflix India dropping the names of some movies which are going to be released soon on their platform. Stars like Kajol, Anil Kapoor, Bhumi Pednekar , Rajkummar Rao, Radhika Apte and many others who will be starring in these films posted a hash tag #ComeOnNetflix to generate the curiosity amongst the audience.

And it came as a big surprise to everyone when today Netflix India finally dropped the names of the 17 Originals that will be soon releasing on NETFLIX.

Sharing an AV with the names , the official page of Netflix India shared ,”We’re all set to drop 17 upcoming originals! Are you excited or ARE YOU EXCITED?!”

Here are the names original films releasing on Netflix soon – Gunjan Saxena: The Kargil Girl, Torbaaz, Dolly Kitty Aur Woh Chamakte Sitare, Raat Akeli Hai, Ludo, Class of ’83, Ginny Weds Sunny, Mismatched, AK vs AK, Tribhanga, Tedhi Medhi Crazy, Kaali Khuhi and Bombay Rose.

Netflix has also announced a series of web-shows as well, such as A Suitable Boy, Serious Men, Bhaag Beanie Bhaag, Bombay Begums and Masaba Masaba.

The release dates for them will be declared soon.

Netflix’s Project Power Trailer Is Out

Jamie Foxx and Joseph Gordon-Levitt starrer Netflix’s Project Power trailer is out and this one plays around with some super powered chemistry; with a very big catch.

Directed by Henry Joost and Ariel Schulman, Project Power focuses on a drug named, aptly enough, “Power.” With the ability to give anyone who takes it superpowers, such as invisibility or the generation of fire and/or ice, it’s a perky pill that only gives the user five minutes of marvelous abilities. And the biggest twist is – you never know what your power will be until you try the drug for yourself.

That’s apparently enough of a risk though, as a kingpin (Westworld’s Rodrigo Santoro) is looking to go into business trafficking this stuff hardcore. It’s up to Jamie Foxx’s ex-soldier and Joseph Gordon-Levitt’s cop to bust this operation up and, with the help of a young Power dealer (Dominique Fishback), they’re going to take their fight to their enemies.

Not only is Netflix getting into the superhero game with Project Power, but they’re doing so with a pretty big distinction from most of the competition.

The film stars Divya Dutta and Anup Soni in lead roles. It features Juhi Babbar Soni, Anupam Kher and Sana Khan in supporting roles. This hard hitting tale deals with the problem of domestic abuse, while the world was in a lockdown, there were some women who were locked in their pain. It focuses on the harsh reality of the society.

The trailer of the film shows how a relationship manager learns about the ordeal of a woman suffering from domestic abuse and he tries to hear her out and solve her problem. Film has been written and directed by Falguni Thakore and produced by Shital Bhatia. Friday Film Works and Neeraj Pandey are presenting the film. The film is going to release on 18 July.

Apart from this, Divya will next be seen in LGBT Romance film titled ‘Sheer Qorma’ starring Shabana Azmi and Swara Bhaskar alongside her. It is a film about two women played by Divya and Swara who are in love with each other.

The latest web series ‘Mafia’ that started streaming on 10th July, has offered the audience a promising story which is a good watch!

‘Mafia’ starring Namit Das, Tanmay Dhanania, Ishaa M Saha, Anindita Bose, Aditya Bakshi, Madhurima Roy, Ridhima Ghosh is a story of 6 friends who head to jungle house in Madhupur for a reunion at the same location where they bid farewell to each other six years ago after their college days. Each of the friends has his own memory, secrets buried in the same place. These secrets which haunt them again form the basic crux of the show. Will they be able to return ?Well, we will leave this secret for you to unfold.

Directed by Birsa Dasgupta and produced by Eskay Movies, the show has eight episodes which have been treated excellently by the director. The narrative is very impressive and the show offers a different approach to the horror genre.

Namit Das, one again steals the show. He is a natural actor who takes the responsibility of the whole show on his shoulders and he emerges successful in it. He is surely the next bankable actor. The rest of the cast helps him hold the fort right.

Overall, the show depicts that the team at Zee5 is really working hard to bring variety of content for its audience to keep them glued to their screen. Mafia is a thrill ride which you should definitely take!

About the series, the second season of the Amazon Prime series, ‘Breathe: Into The Shadows’ is a crime thriller is created and produced by Abundantia Entertainment and marks Abhishek’s digital debut. He plays a father searching for his missing daughter in the series. Amit Sadh in the series will be seen in the reprising role as senior inspector Kabir Sawant.
