Filmmaker Rohit Shetty is excited about Golmaal Again being the first movie to release in New Zealand theatres, post Covid Pandemic.
The New Zealand is coming out of Covid Pandemic, with Zero Cases and trying to re-open the theatres and the first Hindi movie to hit the stands is Golmaal Again.
Golmaal Again, the fourth instalment in hit Golmaal franchise, starred Ajay Devgn, Arshad Warsi, Tusshar Kapoor, Kunal Khemu, Shreyas Talpade, Parineeti Chopra, Tabu, Johnny Lever, Prakash Raj and Neil Nitin Mukesh in the lead roles.
Rohit Shetty just took to his social media profile and dropped the confirmation on the re-release of the film. He shared, “New Zealand decides to re-release Golmaal Again in theatres making it the First Hindi Film to get a relaunch post covid. New Zealand is now covid free and is opening its theatres on 25th June with Golmaal Again. As it is rightly said – THE SHOW MUST GO ON…”
On the work front, Rohit Shetty’s next directorial is Sooryavanshi, an action thriller starring Akshay Kumar and Katrina Kaif in the lead roles.
It is the fourth instalment of Shetty’s Police Universe and also featuring Gulshan Grover, Abhimanyu Singh, Niharica Raizada, Jackie Shroff, Sikandar Kher, Nikitin Dheer, Vivan Bhatena and Javed Jaffrey, while Ajay Devgn and Ranveer Singh reprise their roles of Singham and Simmba from the franchise’s previous films.
Initially scheduled for release on 24 March 2020, the film was indefinitely postponed due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
