Actor Ajay Devgn expressed his heartfelt gratitude towards everyone, including the entire film fraternity and fans, for the prayer and support for his late father Veeru Devgan.
Yesterday, entire Film Fraternity attended actor Ajay Devgn’s father and action master Veeru Devgan’s prayer meet on Thursday held at ISCKON Temple in Mumbai.
Filmmaker and stunt director Veeru Devgan passed away due to a cardiac arrest on Monday. Entire Devgan family, including Ajay Devgn, mother Veena Devgan, Kajol, daughter Nysa were first to arrive at Mandapam Hall, ISKCON temple in Juhu for the ceremony.
Bollywood celebrities such as Amitabh Bachchan, Abhishek Bachchan, Salman Khan, Vicky Kaushal, Kareena Kapoor Khan, Karisma Kapoor, Raveena Tandon, Prem Chopra, Suresh Oberoi, Suniel Shetty, Mana Shetty and many more noted and eminent personalities were also present to extend their support to the family in this moment of grief.
Ajay Devgn just took to his social media and tweeted, “We are grateful to all of you for the way you have shared our loss. Thank you all for the prayers and support”
Ajay and Kajol looked visibly emotional at the prayer meet but Veeru Devgan’s granddaughter, Nysa, was inconsolable. It was her father Ajay who consoled Nysa and took her toward the car.
Veeru Devgan not only was known as an action director but also as a filmmaker. He directed a film Hindustan Ki Kasam with his son Ajay Devgn.
