Akshay Kumar recently announced that Katrina Kaif will be featuring in an a revamped version of Tip Tip Barsa Pani in the upcoming Rohit Shetty’s cop drama ‘Sooryavanshi’. Katrina recently shared pictures from Behind The Scenes as Towel Diaries.
Katirna shared first post with Akshay Kumar who was wearing a towel around his head just as Katrina did. The song Tip Tip Barsa Pani is shot in rain, which means Katrina shared the snap post a schedule for the song. The two can be seen smiling for the camera.
She captioned the image as “Singing in the rain #sooryavanshi,” and tagged director Rohit Shetty and Farah Khan who is choreographing the song.
Katrina later shared a similar post with Farah and added a caption saying, “Me and mummmmyyyyy together after soooooooo long #sooryavanshi #towelseries”
Earlier Akshay was trolled for not crediting Raveena Tondon in the celebratory post for the iconic song. There has been no response from Akshay or Raveena on the backlash.
Fans however are eager to see Katrina and Akshay reunite on screen once again for the film. Sooryavanshi is a spin off in Rohit Shetty’s cop universe post Singham and Simmb
