Lata Mangeshkar Thanked Vikas Khanna for Donating PPE Kits for her Hospital

Veteran singer Lata Mangeshkar also known as ‘The nightingale of India’, Lata Mangeshkar, on Monday thanked celebrity chef Vikas Khanna. The chef donated 1000 personal protection equipment (PPE) kits to Pune’s Deenanath Mangeshkar Hospital. The singer who has charmed the people in India and across the globe with her melodious voice took to her Twitter handle to express her gratitude.

She tweeted, “Namaskaar, Michelin Star Chef Shri @TheVikasKhanna ji ne hamare Deenanath Mangeshkar Hospital ko 1000 PPE KITS donate kiye hai (Namaskaar, Michelin Star Chef Shri @TheVikasKhanna ji has donated 1000 PPE Kits to our Deenanath Mangeshkar Hospital),”.

“Hum sab Mangeshkar aur hamara Deenanath Mangeshkar Hospital pariwar unke aabhari hain (The Mangeshkar family and the Deenanath Mangeshkar Hospital family are very thankful to him)” her tweet further read.

The Hospital was set up by the Lata Mangeshkar Trust and is named after her father and famous musician Deenanath Mangeshkar.

Earlier, amid Lockdown the singer urged people to stay at home to prevent the spread of novel coronavirus. She took to Twitter to spread the message and asked people to follow what Prime Minister Narendra Modi is asking every citizen to do.

“The entire world is going through a crisis, that is why it is our duty to abide by what our respected Prime Minister Narendra Bhai Modi ji and the Chief Minister of every state are saying that you should stay at home, and not go out,” she tweeted.
