Dried is a 2015 Indian dramatization film composed and coordinated by Leena Yadav and created by Ajay Devgn under his standard Ajay Devgn Films. It debuted at the Special Presentations segment of the 2015 Toronto International Film Festival.
The film rotates around four ladies carrying on with an undesirable life in a town of north-western district of India, which still experiences old, age-mocked conventions like constrained youngster relational unions and other social issues like monetary troubles, spousal and familial assault, and physically and candidly oppressive alcoholic spouses.
Rani (Tannishtha Chatterjee), who has been a dowager for half of her life, is attempting energetically to get her child, Gulab (Riddhi Sen), hitched to a delightful young lady, Janki (Lehar Khan), from the neighboring town. At that point there is Lajjo (Radhika Apte), a companion of Rani. They both are talented and work for a neighborhood business person named Kishan (Sumeet Vyas). Lajjo is childless and needs to imagine frantically yet comes up short. On top of this, her alcoholic spouse, Manoj, players her consistently. The fourth lady is Bijli (Surveen Chawla), a nearby suggestive artist, who is a devour for the eyes of town men. She not simply moves but rather satisfies internal goals of numerous men amid dry, exotic evenings of the town.
The men of the town fear the improvement and ability of the ladies and need to carry on with the way of life let by their ancestors. The weaved story of these four ladies demonstrates how they live in a firmly controlled world, trimmed in by convention, however in their private spaces, they discuss love, sex, and their fantasies for what’s to come.
The turn to the story comes when Rani finds Janki is shamed in her town, Lajjo is sick of the mercilessness of her significant other, and Bijli is desirous of another young lady who may supplant her. This prompts an excursion of opportunity and discovering comfort in each other together.
