Dapper actor Prateik Babbar is making his big time entry in Tamil Cinema with forthcoming Darbar, the actor kick-stats shooting for the film and shares a candid picture on his social media profile.
Darbar is an upcoming action thriller film written and directed by AR Murugadoss and produced by Allirajah Subaskaran. The film stars Rajinikanth and Nayanthara in the lead roles.
Prateik Babbar just took to his social media profile and shared a picture of the clapboard. He captioned it, “#darbar #pongal2020 #pongal #2020 @rajinikanth”
The background score and soundtrack will be composed by Anirudh Ravichander, while cinematography and editing will be handled by Santhosh Sivan and Sreekar Prasad, respectively.
For the first time AR Murugadoss will direct Rajinikanth and for the 2nd time Anirudh Ravichander will compose for a Rajinikanth-starrer. The film is scheduled for release on Thai Pongal.
Apart from his big Tamil venture, Prateik Babbar will also be seen in Chhichhore, which is an upcoming romantic comedy-drama film directed by Nitesh Tiwari and produced by Sajid Nadiadwala under the banner of Nadiadwala Grandson Entertainment.
The film starring Sushant Singh Rajput, Shraddha Kapoor, Varun Sharma and Tahir Raj Bhasin, follows the life of seven friends from 1992 to the present day. The film is scheduled for release on 30 August 2019.
