Onscreen ‘Parvati’ and the mother of four little girls in ‘Dangal’, Sakshi Tanwar has adopted a baby girl, whom she named Dityaa, another name for Goddess Laxmi. Sakshi made the announcement recently and said Dityaa is the answer to all her prayers. A single parent, Sakshi said her life has changed totally with Dityaa’s arrival. The little munchkin will turn nine months old soon.
Sakshi said she thought of her as little girl as Goddess Laxmi’s blessing, henceforth the name. Informing her decision, in a interview to Time of India she said
“I am pleased to impart my joy to everybody as I welcome this bundle of joy into my life. This is without a doubt the best snapshot of my life. My family and I are elated to embrace Dityaa”.
Sakshi shot to fame after she played Parvati in hit soap ‘Kahani Ghar Kii’ and afterward proceeded to do shows like ‘Bade Acche Lagte Hain’. In 2016’s blockbuster film ‘Dangal’, she palyed the role of Aamir Khan’s wife. Her depiction of a mother standing by her daughters got her critical acclaim. Furthermore, now she has set out on another voyage of motherhood.
