Salman Khan, Sonakshi Sinha, Nawazuddin Siddiqui Pay Tribute to Rishi Kapoor
Superstar Salman Khan along with Nawazuddin Siddiqui, Sonakshi Sinha mourns the demise of veteran actor Rishi Kapoor, who lost his battle to Cancer.
Veteran actor Rishi Kapoor, who has had a glorious career in the world of Hindi cinema spanning over four decades, passed away at a Mumbai hospital on Thursday morning. He was 67.

Actor Nawazuddin Siddiqui shared, “This is the worst phase for the Indian Cinema, it’s an end to an era. Was fortunate to have worked with him in #Manto and shall cherish those beautiful moments throughout my life. A true entertainer #RishiKapoor Sir #RiP”

In 2018, Rishi Kapoor was diagnosed with cancer for the first time, following which the actor was in New York for nearly a year to undergo treatment. He returned to India in September 2019 after recovering.
Post return to India, his health has frequently been in focus. The actor was admitted to hospital in quick succession in February. Amid speculations about his health, he had been hospitalised in New Delhi in early February, while on a visit to New Delhi.
