Ekta Kapoor who turned 44 on Friday was showered with love from family friends and fraternity members on social media. One of the special messages for her was from Union Minister Smriti Irani. The former actress penned a note on social media thanking her for helping her through different phases in life.
Irani wrote on social media, “You brighten our lives with your smile, you strengthen our resolve with your support no matter what battles lie ahead, your belief that time will heal all wounds and do justice helped me sail through many turbulent phases, your conversations with God… there are many ways for us in the Irani family to describe you but words won’t be enough. Happy Birthday Ekta, rockstar masi, anchor, friend.”
Smriti known for her role as Tulsi and Ekta are known to share a close bond since they worked together for years on the classic show, Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi. They often can he seen showing support for each other through encouraging words. Weeks ago Ekta lauded her friend for walking a stretch of 14 km barefoot.
Some of the other wishes that came online were from brother Tusshar, who shared a picture with Ekta on Instagram and wrote, “Happy birthday Sis! May the good forces of nature align in your favour, now and forever!”
Anita Hassanandani wrote that this year is extra special for Ekta as she turns “extra responsible, extra settled, extra happy, extra focussed, extra hardworking (as always) and extra sexy (wonder how)”.
