Deepika Padukone Unveils Gehraiyaan’s Poster On Her Birthday

Marking her Birthday super special for her fans, actress Deepika Padukone drops six new posters from the forthcoming Gehraiyaan and confirms the release date of the film.

Helmed by Shakun Batra, the romantic drama stars Deepika Padukone, Siddhant Chaturvedi, Ananya Panday with Naseeruddin Shah and Rajat Kapoor in supporting roles. The film will premiere on 11 February 2022 on Amazon Prime Video.

The film is co-written by Batra, Sumit Roy and Ayesha Devitre. The film is jointly produced by Dharma Productions, Viacom18 Studios and Jouska Films.

Apart from the romantic drama, Padukone is also busy with remake of the American comedy film The Intern, and will team with Prabhas in an as-yet untitled science fiction film tentatively named Project K helmed by Nag Ashwin. She is also set to star opposite Hrithik Roshan in Siddharth Anand’s Fighter.

Check Out The ‘Mirchi Lagi Toh’ From ‘Coolie No 1’

The makers of Coolie No 1, unveils yet another reprised version of hit song from the movie, keeping the nostalgic going! The remixed version of Mirchi Lagi Toh is out and this one is as good as the original song.

Ahead of the Varun Dhawan and Sara Ali Khan film releasing on Amazon Prime, the makers released the song, Tujhko Mirchi Lagi. The song features original singers Kumar Sanu and Alka Yagnik. It has been reimagined by Lilo Geor-DJ Chetas, the original song was composed by Anand-Milind and lyrics were penned by Sameer.

The official handle of Pooja Entertainment dropped the song on social media. The sights and sounds of a Chowpatty streetside of the original have been replaced by a set with pop colours in the new song. While Varun is dressed in tees and trousers, Sara chose a tutu-style dress. The 90s song was far more homely with Govinda’s shirts with loud prints and Karisma’s saris.

Coolie No 1 is a remake of David’s 1995 film by the same name. It will premiere on Christmas (December 25) on Amazon Prime Video. Produced by Vashu Bhagnani, Jackky Bhagnani, and Deepshikha Deshmukh, the film also stars Paresh Rawal, Jaaved Jaaferi, Johnny Lever, Rajpal Yadav, and Shikha Talsania among others.

Vidya Balan Confirms Shakuntala Devi Release With A Riddle

After the epic release of Gulabo Sitabo, online video streaming giant, Amazon Prime Online video confirms the release date of Vidya Balan’s much-awaited film – ‘Shakuntala Devi’.

The film will get its global premiere on 31st July 2020. The announcement of the global premiere of the film was made through a video of Balan.

In the video, VIdya is seen asking viewers to solve several challenging mathematics problems. The video ended with her giving the answer of the questions as “31072020” and announcing that film will release on July 31 (31/07/2020) on Amazon Prime Video.

Directed by Anu Menon and produced by Sony Pictures Networks Productions and Vikram Malhotra, the biographical drama stars Balan in the lead, essaying the role of the globally renowned Indian mathematics genius, who was popularly known as the ‘human computer’.

The flick also stars Sanya Malhotra, Jisshu Sengupta and Amit Sadh in pivotal roles. The screenplay is written by Anu Menon and Nayanika Mahtani, while the dialogues are penned by Ishita Moitra.

Breathe: Into The Shadows’ is a crime thriller is created and produced by Abundantia Entertainment. Abhishek plays a father searching for his missing daughter in the series. Amit Sadh in the series will be seen in the reprising role as senior inspector Kabir Sawant.

Avinash and Abha Sabharwal (played by Bachchan and Menen) to find their missing daughter Siya. However, it soon turns into an ugly mind-game that pushes them into the dark realms of crime. Amit Sadh returns as cop Kabir Sawant to look into the killings across the city. He calls in Bachchan, a psychiatrist by profession, to understand the pattern of murders and get into the mind of the killer. Only that, Kabir is unaware that Avinash has his own plan to tamper with evidence and lead the investigation astray.

Breathe is created and directed by Mayank Sharma and written by Bhavani Iyer, Vikram Tuli, Arshad Syed and Mayank Sharma. The Amazon Original also features popular actors Nithya Menen and Sayami Kher in prominent roles.

The series is slated to release on 10th July 2020.

The teaser starts with Abhishek Bachchan, Nithiya Menon along with Siya, their daughter are happy in their world and enjoy life as it comes, but one unfortunate day someone kidnaps Siya in market place and the worst fear of parent’s starts coming true!

Abhishek Bachchan plays the role of a doctor in the series, which also marks his digital debut. The trailer for the series will be out on 1 July 2020.

Swara Bhaskar Starrer ‘Rasbhari’ Streaming On Amazon Prime

OTT platforms are flooded with new shows, short films, movies these days. Every other day new content is being brought for entertaining the audience and now finally Swara Bhaskar’s long awaited series ‘Rasbhari’ is streaming on Amazon Prime.

‘Rasbhari’ is a web series set in a small town of Meerut where a young teenager Nand becomes attracted towards his new English teacher Shaanu. But soon he discovers that this new teacher has a sexy alter ego named  ‘Rasbhari’. This web series was recently shown to the audience at France’s Series Mania International Festival and received good response.

Swara plays the role of English teacher Shaanu while Nand is being portrayed by Ayushmann Saxena. The series also features Rashmi Agdekar, Pradyuman Singh, Neelu Kohli and Chitranjan Tripathi.

‘Rasbhari’ is a social satire directed by Nikhil Bhatt and written by Shantanu Shrivastava. The series has been produced by Applause Entertainment.
