Gulabo Sitabo Trailer Out Today, Check Out The Poster

After dropping the teaser and first look, the makers of Gulabo Sitabo are out with a new poster and confirm that the trailer for the film will be out today.

The official handle of Rising Sun Films dropped the new poster and confirmed that the trailer for the film will be out at 4 PM today. It said, “Mirza aur Baankey aapse milne ke liye tayyar hain. Gulabo Sitabo

The slice-of-life dramedy is the story of Mirza (Amitabh Bachchan) and Baankey (Ayushmann Khurrana ) who like Tom and Jerry are unique and unmatched, friend and foe, naughty and smart, little and large all things needed to create chaos. The title of the film has been borrowed from the famous puppet duo of Gulao-Sitabo of Uttar Pradesh.

Gulabo and Sitabo are the puppets of two warring sisters-in-law, who fight but also can’t live without each other. Using the puppets of Gulabo and Sitabo, the puppeteers would create awareness about social evils.

The film will premiere on Amazon Prime Video on 12th June 2020.

Amitabh Bachchan gets Inspired by his Grandson

Actor Amitabh Bachchan is a complete fitness freak. The actor has been inspiring his fans by sharing his fitness regime on social media. But Big B seems to be inspired by his grandson. The ‘Paa’ actor while working out at his home gym shared a selfie along with his grandson (Agstya Nanda). The monochrome image features both holding the dumbbells and flashing out their energetic smile.

Amitabh Bachchan sharing the image on Instagram wrote, “Fight .. fight the fit .. fit the fight .. reflective mirrors , laterally inverted imagery .. and the inspiration with Grandson ..

Meanwhile, on the work front, Amitabh Bachchan will be seen in his upcoming film ‘Gulabo Sitabo’. The film will directly release on an OTT streaming platform instead of the theatres.

The film is a story of eponymous glove puppet characters, Gulabo and Sitabo who reside in Uttar Pradesh. It is a story full of local humor and songs depicting day to day struggle of a common man.

The shooting of the film began in June last year and the film was all set to be released in April 2020 but due to coronavirus the release date was postponed and finally, the film is getting a digital premiere in over 200 countries.

The film is directed by ‘Piku’ fame Shoojit Sircar and written by Juhi Chaturvedi. It has been produced by Ronnie Lahiri and Sheel Kumar. The film will be digitally released on Amazon Prime Video on June 12.

The title of the film, Gulabo Sitabo, has been borrowed from the famous puppet duo of Gulao-Sitabo of Uttar Pradesh.

The teaser is a graphic representation showing two goats and the name of the film. A voice in the background can be heard saying, “Pehle sabko namaste kariye, salaam kariye, satsariyakaal kariye. Aur ye hai Gulabo, aur ye bhai Sitabo hai. Yeh rahne vali hai Hazratganj wali, aur ye Ameenabaad wali gadbadjhale Chandani Chowk ki tehelne wali. Yeh badi hoshiyar aur badi chalaak hai.”

The actor took to his Instagram handle shared his selfie and wrote ‘going for the gym, we’ll meet later. The gym is at home not outside. In his post, he mentioned that his gym is in his house not outside.

ZEE5 drops the Teaser of ‘Ghoomketu’

The makers of Ghoomketu starring Nawazuddin Siddiqui and Anurag Kashyap, finally drops the stunning teaser of the film.

Actor Nawazuddin Siddiqui is all set for the digital release of his film Ghoomketu and the teaser of the film is out. Besides featuring Nawazuddin as a writer and Anurag as a cop, the film also has Amitabh Bachchan, Sonakshi Sinha and Ranveer Singh in interesting cameos.

The official handle of ZEE5Premium dropped the teaser on social media. The Ghoomketu teaser opens with Nawazuddin introducing himself as a scriptwriter who arrives in Mumbai to fulfil his dreams of working in films. A glimpse of him enjoying a conversation with a bhelpuriwala to explain the spirit of Mumbai is interesting.

However, he ends up at a police station to write a report for his stolen scripts. Meanwhile, Anurag Kashyap’s police inspector has been tasked with finding Ghoomketu. The director, who plays a laidback and corrupt cop, is left surprised when the missing person himself appears in front of him. It seems Anurag will put a brake on Ghoomketu’s escapades.

It also stars Ila Arun, Raghubir Yadav, Swanand Kirkire, Ragini Khanna, Chitrangada Singh, Lauren Gottlieb and filmmaker Nikkhil Advani will also be seen in a brief appearance in the film.

Directed by Pushpendra Nath Misra and produced by Phantom Films and Sony Pictures Networks (SPN), Ghoomketu will release on ZEE5 on May 22.

Amitabh Bachchan started Shooting for KBC amid Lockdown

Amid COVID-19 Lockdown everybody is cautious and maintaining social distancing. Owing to the current restrictions everyone is in house arrest. But Bollywood superstar Amitabh Bachchan in spite of this started shooting for the upcoming popular quiz show KBC (Kaun Banega Crorepati). Now Big B seems to be anxious about being judged for breaking social distancing rules. Justifying himself in his blog, he specified that the shoot was done with essential precautionary measures.

He wrote, “So yes I worked .. got a problem with that .. keep it to yourself then .. damned if you pour it out here in this locked in condition .. sufficient precaution as much that could be taken was taken .. and what had been scheduled for 2 days , was completed in one day .. starting 6pm .. ending a short while NOW … !!”

Viewers to their surprises are speculating in what means the quiz show would be shot this year, as the situation doesn’t permit to do so. Big B answering on the same in his blog mentioned, “Personal gratifications to the many that ask .. and then the KBC pile of several.. in all about 10 to 12 videos and then hours of audio recordings .. also for the same , KBC .. and the speculation as to how they shall conduct it .. there have been no definite answers for that .. but the authority hopes well and long .. so ..”

Bachchan though having a Hamstring pain completed his KBC two days shoot in one day. This shows that Big B cannot stay away from work. To express on the same he tweeted early on Wednesday, “Just back from work .. hamstring be damned .. social messaging videos .. acknowledging the ”angels” videos .. giving commendation to them that work so we exist .. and the invitations to the new season of KBC .. The show goes on ..heavy in heart , to all,”.

Meanwhile, on the work front, Amitabh Bachchan will be seen in ‘Gulabo Sitabo’. It is a quirky family-comedy, helmed by Shoojit Sircar. The movie also stars Ayushmann Khurrana along with Amitabh Bachchan in the lead roles. The movie has its screenplay written by Juhi Chatturvedi. Gulabo Sitabo will be produced by Ronnie Lahiri and Sheel Kumar.

Due to coronavirus pandemic, the movie release date is still not finalized.

Amitabh Bachchan has always been active on social media and these days he is trying to make people aware about the Corona Virus. He is urging people on what to do and what not in order to protect themselves and their families. Amidst such chaotic times, he now shares a video urging his fans to stay compassionate and benevolent.

Recently, Amitabh Bachchan shared a picture from the sets of his movie Satte Pe Satta. The actor shared the picture cherishing old memories and wrote ‘those were the days’. He posted the picture with the caption,

Brahmastra: Part One of Three, also known as Brahmastra, is written and directed by Ayan Mukerji, and produced by Karan Johar. It also stars Ranbir Kapoor, Alia Bhatt, Mouni Roy and Akkineni Nagarjuna in pivotal roles and will serve as the first film in a planned trilogy.
The film is scheduled for release on 4 December 2020.

​Amitabh Bachchan character look out from ‘Gulabo Sitabo’

The maker of Gulabo Sitabo unveils the quirky character look of Amitabh Bachchan from the film along with the release date.
Shoojit Sircar directorial will have Amitabh Bachchan play an old bespectacled Muslim man with a fat nose. The film, which also stars Ayushmann Khurrana in a pivotal role, is slated to release on April 24, 2020.
Trade Analyst Taran Adarsh dropped the first look and release date. He tweeted, “Unveiling Amitabh Bachchan’s quirky character look from #GulaboSitabo… Costars Ayushmann Khurrana… Directed by Shoojit Sircar… 24 April 2020 release.”
The film is written by Juhi Chaturvedi of Vicky Donor, Piku and October fame, Gulabo Sitabo is produced by Ronnie Lahiri and Sheel Kumar. Notably, it will bring Bachchan and Khurrana together on the big screen for the first time.
Apart from Gulabo Sitabo, Khurrana and Bachchan have a slew of other films in various stages of production. Movies such as Rumi Jaffery’s Chehre, Ayan Mukerji’s Brahmastra and Nagraj Manjule’s Jhund.
Meanwhile Ayushmann Khurrana will soon be seen in Anubhav Sinha’s Article 15. He also has Raaj Shaandilyaa’s Dream Girl and Amar Kaushik’s Bala in his kitty.
