Actress Urvashi Rautela says her forthcoming slice of life drama Virgin Bhanupriya is a strong female centric movie on the sidelines of a Hand Sanitizer launch here in Mumbai.
Urvashi Rautela starrer Virgin Bhanupriya’s first official trailer is also out today and actress says she is lucky to have second female centric film.
Talking about the trailer release of her film, Urvashi said, “It is co-incidence that trailer of my upcoming film is also coming out, but I really cannot have a trailer launch, so we’re launching it digitally. The film is titled Virgin Bhanupriya. It is my second female centric film, and I am sure youth will be able to relate to the story”
“I am feeling truly lucky with Virgin Bhanupriya, as the character is really strong because once you start getting strong female roles; it establishes that you’re known as strong performer” added Urvashi.
Virgin Bhanupriya is helmed by Ajay Lohan, also starring Gautam Gulati, Archana Puran Singh, Delnaaz Irani, Rajiv Gupta and Brijendra Kala, Niki Aneja Walia and Rumana Molla.
Bollywood is trying to get back to its feet post lockdown and actress Urvashi Rautela ventured out to take “new normal” with confident strides. The actress hosted first ever public event post lockdown and hailed it as “giving back to commoners”.
Talking about hosting the first ever public event with media post lockdown, Urvashi said, “For me it is more than an event, I think it is all about social cause, helping common people, as this particular company is offering everything at half rate and I really wanted to something for common people, so I agreed to launch the product”
The film was scheduled for theatrical release, but has moved to release on 16 July 2020 through ZEE5 due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
