Television actress Asha Negi recently released series ‘Baarish’ is getting lots of praise from the viewers. The actor is feeling on cloud nine as people are appreciating season 1 as well. Asha believes that amid lockdown web is the king as it is the only source that keeps people entertained and motivated. Apart from this the ‘Pavitra Rishta’ actor also shared few memories from the sets of ‘Baarish’.

Expressing on the same, she said, “As everybody is under house arrest, our daily routine has become like doing household chores, eating, and then watching television. So, the only source of entertainment today is television. In fact, there are people who have not seen season 1 of ‘Baarish’ saw in this lockdown period. This really sounds good. I believe that in today’s time web is the king.”

Asha sharing a few fond memories from the sets of ‘Baarish’ said, “I had enjoyed a lot shooting not only season 1 but also season 2 because our director used to pamper us a lot. One memory I would like to share about our director is that she used to bring gajar ka halwa on shoots many times. But every time I and Priya would hide the halwa in our vanity van and after pack up, we used to lock our van and eat the halwa. There are many memories, but this a very sweet one attached to it.

About the series, Asha debuted on the digital space with ‘Baarish’ last year. The web series, also starring Sharman Joshi, recently released its second season. ‘Baarish – When you are in mood for romance’ is a 2019 web series developed by Ekta Kapoor for video demand platform ALTBalaji & ZEE5. Television actress Asha Negi shares some tips and suggestions for the lockdown. She insisted that people rather than running out, should fight one’s inner self and stay positive. The actress also felt pity for the helpless and poor migrants. She urged the nation to help these travellers in any way they can.

Asha speaking on the same said, “A lot of stuff is going in people’s minds nowadays. They are so stressed out that they feel like crying the whole day. I think whatever emotions you have let it come out. If you want to cry, cry. But then you should not get stuck also with those emotions. Try to come out and get evolved with things you like. Because this is a difficult time for everyone. So do meditation, post something good on social media, try escaping going out, and find happiness at home. Even Universe wants us to get involved in small small things that give us happiness, rather than running out. We have to fight with ourselves and our emotions. Slowly slowly everything will be back to normal, keep patience.”

Feeling lucky to be home and safe amid lockdown, Asha said,” We, people, are lucky that at least we are at home and are safe. We have all our groceries and basic utilities at home. But there are people who are walking miles just to reach their homes. They don’t even have food to eat and nor they have money to buy. Even there are many people who are stuck over here helpless. I think we should help these people in any way we can.”

Enjoying My Lockdown Doing Household And Watching Movies Says Asha Negi

Actress Asha Negi shares a sneak-peek into her daily schedule says she is binge-watching Hollywood, South, and Lebanon movies on Netflix. The ‘Pavitra Rishta’ actress also revealed that she is fond of paintings and loves painting glass bottles.

Asha said, “It’s good. I have been telling everyone nothing has changed for me as such. Anyways I am feeling the happiest because I love staying at home. I am having fun, I am trying to make most of every day. I start my day by doing basic house works like cleaning and sweeping the floor. After that I cook vegetables, then I eat and wash my dishes. Apart from this, I am also watching a lot of shows, films and also doing paintings. But now as my canvas is over, I am thinking to paint on glass bottles”

“I like watching films. I don’t get stuck in a few films, I keep watching more and more. Recently I have started watching Hollywood films on Netflix and they are quite interesting. I am also a huge fan of foreign films and South Indian films. Lately, I watched Telugu films called ‘Super Delux’ and ‘Kancharapalem’ on Netflix. It’s a Telugu film, beautifully scripted and shot with simplicity, even the characters have done their roles very precisely. There is one more film which is Lebanon called ‘Capernaum’, it is based on a child who is a refugee” she added.
