Veteran Bollywood actor Shatrughan Sinha took his first dose of COVID-19 vaccine and urged everyone to get their proper vaccine and demanded that vaccine should be made free for everyone and refused to comment on PM Modi’s resignation demand.
Actor turned politician Shatrughan Sinha stepped out to his first dose and interacted with Newshelpline outside the vaccination centre.
When asked about vaccination drive, Shatrughan said, “Everyone needs to fight this disease, everyone must get take the vaccine and I believe that vaccine should be made available to everyone, and free of cost, especially for the poor”
The social media is buzzing with people demanding resignation of Prime Minister Narendra Modi as he has failed to manage the corona crisis in India.
When asked Sinha about his opinion whether PM should resign, he said, “This is a political issue; this is not the place or time to talk about political issue, especially PM’s resignation. I will talk about it later, right now; vaccination is the most important thing, everyone should get it and free of cost”
Earlier, on Monday, Shatrughan Sinha’s daughter and actor Sonakshi Sinha also received her first dose of vaccine after the vaccination drive opened for those under 45.
The second wave of corona-virus has infected many people, and the number of COVID-19 positive cases has been rapidly rising. India registered a total of 2.2 crore COVID-19 cases, with 1.9 crore recoveries.
