Beautiful and talented actress Kalki Koechlin channels not just one but various different iconic personalities for the latest edition of Harper’s Bazaar India cover spread.

Kalki Koechlin reimagines global pop icons David Bowie, Lady Gaga, Rekha, Helen and more on ‘The Fantasy Issue of Bazaar India.

Sharing the series of spreads, Kalki took to her social media and captioned her post, “For years and years I roamed, I gazed a gazeless stare, We walked a million hills, I must have died alone, A long, long time ago – DAVID BOWIE #themanwhosoldtheworld”

The official handle of Harper’s Bazaar India shared a snipped from her interview, where Kalki talks about love for singer David Bowie, and she wasn’t a fan of Lady Gaya until she saw her videos with spunk in them.

Kalki took a break from active screen-presence due to her pregnancy. She welcomed her daughter Sappho in 2020 with her boyfriend, Guy Hershberg, an Israeli musician.

On the work front, Kalki will soon be seen in GoldFish and Emma and Angel movie.

GoldFish is helmed by Pushan Kripalani, starring Neena Gupta and Kalki Koechlin for the first time. The film is set in London, and deals with memory, music, mental health, and identity. It starts when Anamika (Kalki) returns home to her estranged mother Sadhana (Neena Gupta) because she is suffering from the onset of dementia.

Known for picking off-beat and dramatic roles, Amyra was last seen in thriller Koi Jaane Na, which paired her with actor Kunal Kapoor in Amin Hajee’s directorial debut. She has Kadhalai Thedi Nithya Nandha and Bagheera in the pipeline.

Bagheera is a Tamil drama movie, directed by Adhik Ravichandran. The cast of film also includes Prabhu Deva, who will be seen romancing five heroines in film.

The psycho mystery thriller movie was originally supposed to be titled Kadhalan Returns but was changed to the name of the director’s favourite fictional character from The Jungle Book.

Since then there have been 5 seasons of the show, but Adaa’s role as a shape shifting Naagin’ is still etched in the hearts of the audience. On the work front, there are reports that the actress has been approched for season 15 of the famous and most loved reality show Bigg Boss. She was approached by the makers for season 12, 13 and 14 too but she did not accept the offer.

The actress Shruti Haasan took to her social media profile and shared the cover page. The film also stars Amit Sadh, Vijay Varma, Kenny Basumatary and Sanjay Mishra, is a licensed adaptation of the French feature film “A Gang Story”. Set in the backdrop of North India, the film revolves around an enduring friendship between four notorious criminals and traces their rise and fall.

Masaba is Neena Gupta’s daughter with former West Indies cricketer Vivian Richards, with whom the actress was in a relationship. She was previously married to filmmaker Madhu Mantena. However, the couple filed for divorce last year. She is currently rumoured to be dating actor Satyadeep Misra.
