Today marks the 27 years of the release of this film and actor Kunal Kemmu who played a child artist in the film remembers this special film of his life. The ‘Kalyug’ actor took to his social media and shared a poster of the film. He wrote, “Although I’m not sure about the exact day but it released in this month 27 years ago…(I trust google)”
‘Hum Hain Rahi Pyar Ke’ is a romantic comedy film directed by Mahesh Bhatt. The film starred Aamir Khan and Juhi Chawla in lead roles and Sharokh Bharucha and Kunal Kemmu in supporting roles as child artists. The film’s plot was inspired from 1958 movie ‘House Boat’. The film was a huge success at the box office and also garnered the National Film Award – Special Jury Award/ Special Mention (Feature Film).
Meanwhile, on the work front, Kunal Kemmu will soon be seen in ‘Lootcase’ which is releasing on Disney+Hotstar on 31st July. The film is a comedy drama directed by Rajesh Krishnan. It revolves around a red coloured suitcase. Rasika Dugal plays the leading lady in the film and it also features Vijay Raaz and Ranvir Shorey in supporting roles.
Kunal will also be soon seen in the second season of ‘Abhay’ a web show on Zee5. The first season got great reviews and the release dates for the second season will soon be announced.
