Karan Johar And Amit Sadh Writes Apologetic Post For Sushant Singh Rajput

Filmmaker Karan Johar and actor Amit Sadh took to their respective social media profiles and shared heartfelt apologetic messages for deceased Sushant Singh Rajput.

Karan Johar blames himself for not keeping in touch with Sushant despite receiving hints that perhaps he needed someone. His post read, “I blame myself for not being in touch with you for the past year…I have felt at times like you may have needed people to share your life with…but somehow I never followed up on that feeling…will never make that mistake again…we live in very energetic and noisy but still very isolated times…some of us succumb to these silences and go within…we need to not just make relationships but also constantly nurture them….Sushants unfortunate demise has been a huge wake up call to me…to my level of compassion and to my ability to foster and protect my equations…..I hope this resonates with all of you as well….will miss your infectious smile and your bear hug…”

Actor Amit Sadh who made his acting debut with Sushtant Singh in Kai Po Che, also expressed the same sentiments.

He wrote, “I am sorry… I did not come to your rescue… Will regret all my life for not reaching out! Right now very sad but will cherish the time we shared filming Kai po che…Rest in peace bhai! #iambroken”

Sushant Singh Rajput last film ‘Drive’ was produced by Karan Johar. The Netflix film also starred Jacqueline Fernandez in the lead role. Initially slated for theatrical release, the movie saw an online release.

After Vicky Kaushal, Varun Dhawan, Yami Gautam, Karan Johar, Rajkummar Rao, Ishaan Khatter and more attempted the Gulabo Sitabo Tongue Twister Challenge and now Vikrant Massey nails the challenge with ease.

Megastar Amitabh Bachchan and actor Ayushmann Khurrana launched the ‘Gulabo Sitabo’ tongue twister challenge to promote their forthcoming slice of life drama.

Mirzapur actor Vikrant took to his social media and shared the video, he captioned it, “And with your challenge accepted Shoojit Da, here I go…Best wishes to the entire team of #gulabositabo…@shoojitsircar @juhic3 @ronnie.lahiri @veerakapuree @amitabhbachchan @ayushmannk @primevideoin. The quirky comedy which marks Khurrana’s first film with Amitabh Bachchan was slated to hit the screens on April 17 but could not see the light of the day owing to the shuttering of cinema theatres due to COVID-19 lockdown.

Meanwhile on the work front, Vikrant was last seen in Chhapaak with Deepika Padukone. The actor has Dolly Kitty Aur Woh Chamakte Sitare, Yaar Jigri, Ginny Weds Sunny        and Haseen Dillruba in his kitty.

Ginny Weds Sunny is a romantic comedy film directed by debutant Puneet Khanna and produced by Vinod Bachchan, also starring Yami Gautam.

Haseen Dillruba is a mystery thriller helmed by Vinil Mathew and produced by Aanand L. Rai and Himanshu Sharma under the banner Colour Yellow Productions. The film also stars Taapsee Pannu, Hansika Motwani and Harshvardhan Rane.

Meet Shoojit Sircar’s favourite character from the film ‘Gulabo Sitabo’

Be it a release in the theatres or over the OTT platforms, the whole cast and crew of the film remains nervous and excited before the release of their film. ‘Gulabo Sitabo’ is all set for its premiere on Amazon Prime on 12th June, 2020 and prior to it, the team is doing its best to promote the film. While the whole industry is busy taking up the ‘Gulabo Sitabo’ tongue twister challenge, director Shoojit Sircar shares his favourite character from the film.

Sharing the picture of the goat which plays an important role in the film, Shoojit Sircar writes, “#GiboSibo se toh aapki mulakat hogayi! Just days ahead of the release of the film, Amitabh Bachchan introduced a tongue twister challenge  as a part of the film promotion and since then it has been keeping the whole industry busy. Stars like Taapsee Pannu, Karan Johar, Varun Dhawan, Vicky Kaushal, Rajkummar Rao, Yami Gautam, Ishaan Khatter, Vikrant Massey have tried their best to ace the challenge.

Starring thespian Amitabh Bachchan and Ayushmann Khurrana, ‘Gulabo Sitabo’ is a story of eponymous glove puppet characters, Gulabo and Sitabo who reside in Uttar Pradesh.

It is a story full of local humour and songs depicting day to day struggle of a common man. Film is directed by ‘Piku’ fame Shoojit Sircar and written by Juhi Chaturvedi. It has been produced by Ronnie Lahiri and Sheel Kumar.

Film will be released tomorrow 12 June, 2020 on Amazon Prime Video.

Karan Johar takes the ‘Gulabo Sitabo’ tongue twister challenge!

‘Gulabo Sitabo’ is all set to have a digital release on 12 June, 2020 on Amazon Prime Video and since the stars cannot go out for its promotion, they have started promoting it on social media. Legendary actor Amitabh Bachchan introduced a tongue twister challenge yesterday as a part of the film promotion, post which Ayushmann Khurrana nailed it and he further nominated other stars to take part in it. Director Producer Karan Johar tried to take the challenge but we must say he failed in it miserably!

Trying his luck at the tongue twister KJo also wished the team good luck for their upcoming film. He wrote, “My dear @ayushmannk I have accepted your challenge and i have to say I am terrible at it! My apologies!!! All the best for #gulabositabo can’t wait to see it!! My best wishes to @amitabhbachchan @shoojitsircar @juhi3 and for the tongue twisting trauma I nominate @aliabhatt @tigerjackieshroff @arjunkapoor!”

The tongue twister goes like this, ‘Gulabo ki khatar- patar se titar-bitar sitabo, sitabo ke agar-magar se uthal-puthal gulabo’. After Ayushmann, his ‘Dum Laga Ke Haisha’ costar Bhumi Pednekar was quick enough to pass the test.

Love is in the air. For actor Sonam Kapoor Ahuja her husband is the whole ball of wax and the best husband in the world.  The ‘Prem Ratan Dhan Payo’ actress turned 35 today. On this auspicious occasion, friends and family members wished the actor on social media.

Sonam to celebrate her birthday took to her Instagram handle and posted few candid pictures of her and her husband’s. In both the pictures Sonam is seen embracing her husband with a big gigantic smile. The picture itself proves that comfort is where the love is.

Her father, actor Anil Kapoor to wish her darling daughter took to his Instagram. Sharing photos, he wrote that Sonam is his “confidant, joy, pride.”

The actor’s ‘Veere Di Wedding’ co-star Swara Bhasker mentioned how glad she is to have met her. Their friendship started from the sets of Raanjhanaa.

Karan Johar’s House Help Tested Positive For Covid 19

After producer and filmmaker Boney Kapoor’s house help tested positive, director Karan Johar’s house-staff has tested positive for Covid-19.

Karan Johar has confirmed that two members of his household staff have tested positive for COVID-19 and issued a statement regarding the same.

Dharma Productions head honcho, Karan put out a statement on social media, which read, “I’d like to inform you that 2 members of our household staff have tested positive for Covid-19. As soon as the symptoms were detected, they were put under quarantine in a section of our building. The BMC was informed immediately, and the building has been fumigated and sterilised by them as per the norms”

“The rest of us in the family and the staff are all safe and display no symptoms. We have all taken the swab test this morning and have tested negative, but will remain in self-isolation for the next 14 days for the safety of everyone around us. We stand by our commitment to safeguard everyone and have ensured that all measures prescribed by the authorities have been strictly adhered to”

“We will also ensure that the best treatment and care is provided to them during the illness, and we’re sure that they will be fighting fit soon! These are difficult times but by staying in our homes and taking the right precautions, there is no doubt in my mind that we can defeat this virus. Stay home everyone and stay safe” read the whole statement.

Interestingly, filmmaker Karan celebrated his 48th Birthday yesterday and shared a video on his social media profile with his kid, where he is seen cutting cake and sporting a new hair-style.

Karan Johar will soon return to director’s chair with Takth, which features an ensemble cast of Kareena Kapoor Khan, Anil Kapoor, Bhumi Pednekar, Ranveer Singh, Vicky Kaushal, Alia Bhatt, Janhvi Kapoor and more.

Abram Khan and Shahrukh Khan Put Up A Stellar Performance For “I for India”

The leading actors, musicians, singers, sportsperson and industrialists from India came together on sunday 3rd May, 2020 to support Covid Relief Work by being a part of “I for India” fundraiser concert, the biggest fund raiser concert in India. The concert was live streamed on facebook and had over 85+ Indian and Global Stars.

The four hour long concert was closed by King Khan where he sang a special song ‘Sab Sahi ho Jayega’. His little one AbRam also made an appearnace during his performance.

SRK posted a video of his performance with a heartfelt thankyou note on his twitter account. He wrote, “Extremely grateful to #IforIndia @badboyshah & @cacklerraj for music, lyrics & for working overnight. Thanks Sunil for the edit. All so that i could sing. Ab bhai, lockdown mein mujhe gaate hue bhi jhelna padega. AbRam is saying ‘ papa enough now!’ Par Sab Sahi Ho Jaayega!”

The concert not only featured Indian celebrities but also had many international stars contributing their bit to raise the funds for Covid Relief. It featured Will Smith, Bryan Adams, Nick Jonas, Mick Jagger, Mindy Kaling and Lilly Singh.

The event was organised by Karan Johar and Zoya Akhtar managed by GIVEINDIA Foundation.

The funds collected from the concert will be donated to more than 100 groups providing food and other essential services to the needy during the crisis.

Producer and filmmaker Karan Johar also wished Varun Dhawan by sharing an old photo from a film’s promotion on Instagram. In the photo, KJo is seen giving a peck on Varun’s cheeks. He wrote, “happy birthday to my crazy happy and lovely child.” It was Karan Johar who launched Varun into films with his film Student Of The Year opposite Alia Bhatt and Sidarth Malhotra.
Nora Fatehi also posted a picture of herself with the birthday boy on her Instagram story. “Omg this is one of my fav pics of us. I wish you all the best boo boo! Many more years of success, happiness and laughter,” she wrote along with the picture.
Meanwhile on the work front, the actor who has given hit films like ‘Badlapur’, ‘Main Tera Hero’, ‘Judwaa 2’, ‘Badrinath Ki Dulhania’and more was last seen in Remo Dsouza’s ‘Street Dancer 3D’ with Shraddha Kapoor.
