Bollywood actor Manoj Bajpayee’s film titled Bhonsle is finally releasing on an OTT platform. The film, which revolves around the story of a man who is struggling to navigate a solitary life in self-isolation, is already a festival favorite.
Helmed by Devashish Makhija, this critically-acclaimed movie also brings power-packed performances from Santosh Juvekar, Ipshita Chakraborty Singh, Virat Vaibhav, Abhishek Banerjee, Rajendra Sisadkar, Kailash Waghmare and Shrikant Yadav.
The film is set in Mumbai, at a tumultuous time when scheming Maharashtrian politicians use violence to rid the state of North-Indian migrants, a terminally-ill lone wolf Maharashtrian cop Bhonsle retired against his will, finds himself forging an unlikely companionship with a 23-year-old North-Indian girl and her little brother, while the raging conflict destroying the world around them reaches his doorstep, giving him one last battle worth fighting for, but it might just be too late.

The film screened at many other festivals including MAMI Film Festival, 2018 Dharamshala Film Festival, the 2019 International Film Festival Rotterdam, the Bengaluru International Film Festival, and the Singapore South Asian International Film Festival among others.
The film will release on SonyLiv digital platform.
