A few days back Actor Priyanka Chopra Jonas joined the virtual Girl Up Leadership Summit 2020. The ‘Quantico’ actor feeling too privileged of this opportunity took to her Instagram handle and jotted down a few lines.

Expressing gratitude Priyanka in her post spoke that the women need to raise their voices and should have confidence in themselves!

Sharing an IGTV video Priyanka also stated that it’s now time to push all the boundaries and be bold. The Instagram Feed of Priyanka read, “Girl Up Global Leadership Summit 2020. Meet TIFF Ambassador Priyanka Chopra

International Icon Priyanka Chopra makes the official announcement that she has been chosen as the ambassador of the Toronto International Film Festival (TIFF) 2020.

Chopra has joined the list of 50 celebrated filmmakers and actors who are invited as the ambassadors of the TIFF. She put out a post on Instagram and shared a montage featuring snippets of her empowering addresses at the TIFF. Along with the video, Priyanka noted that the TIFF has been a second home for her.

She wrote, “Throughout my career TIFF has been a second home for me, with many of my films, as both an actor and producer, making their world debut at the festival. TIFF has always been at the forefront of supporting and championing global content that showcases diversity and inclusion, a charge led by my friend @cameronpbailey and his talented team, who work with passion to shine a spotlight on these special stories and storytellers”

“Even more than that, one of the most exceptional parts of the festival are the fans of cinema who congregate to celebrate the magic of the movies, and who have always embraced me with so much warmth and love. International superstar Priyanka Chopra signs a two-year multimillion-dollar television deal with Amazon and expressed her excitement on social media.

Priyanka Chopra took to her social media and wrote a long post, which read, “YESSSS @amazonstudios, LET’S GET IT!!! So honored and excited to finally share this news with you. Looking ahead, we already have so much on our slate! Big thank you to @jsalke and her team at Amazon for being such great partners, and for sharing in the belief that talent and good content knows no boundaries.

Bollywood Demands #JusticeForJayarajAndFenix

While our country stood out for justice for American African man Geroge Floyd, an equally horrifying case has taken place in our country which has shaken everybody. Custodial death of father son duo Jayaraj and Fenix who owned a mobile shop in Sathankulam, Tamil Nadu has jolted the whole country.

They were brutally beaten up by the police for keeping their shop open for a few minutes more than the permitted time and eventually the two succumbed to death.

There is an outrage across the country after this incident and everyone is demanding justice for them. Many Bollywood Celebrities are also coming forward and tweeting for the same.

Priyanka Chopra has tweeted,”#JusticeForJayarajAndBennicks Reeling from what I’ hearing. Absolutely stunned, sad and angry. No human being deserves such brutality, whatever be their crime. The guilty must not be allowed to go unpunished. We need facts. I cannot even begin to imagine what the family must be going through. Sending strength and prayers. We need to use our collective voices to seek #JusticeForJayarajAndBennicks.”

Genelia Deshmukh wrote, “I am so shocked and pained and to a large extent just unsure, how we have become such a horrible race. This incident is so brutal, it actually breaks my heart..Just not done. #JusticeforJayarajAndFenix.”

Rakul Preet Singh tweeted, “This is heartbreaking. I am disgusted. This kind of brutality is inhuman and no one has the right to treat another life in this manner. Makes me sick to the stomach. After Irrfan Khan and Rishi Kapoor, the Indian cinema lost one more gem, Wajid Khan, the talented music composer of duo Sajid-Wajid. He was 42 and died from complications due to suspected Covid-19 on early hours of Monday. This came as shocking news to everyone and since then his close friends from the industry have been paying condolence to the family.
