Aftab Shivdasani Launches His Own Production House ‘Mount Zen Media’

Actors these days not only like being in front of the camera, but also love being behind it creating magic in the production. After the likes of Anushka Sharma, Priyanka Chopra Jonas, Kangana Ranaut, Akshay Kumar, Vivek Oberoi and many others, the latest star to join the bandwagon and announce his own production house is Aftab Shivdasani. Aftab along with his wife Nin Dusanj  have launched their own production house called ‘Mount Zen Media’.

Film Trade Analyst Taran Adarsh broke this news to everyone and wrote, “ANNOUNCEMENT…#AftabShivdasani and wife #NinDusanjShivdasani launch their production house : Mount Zen Media…#Aftab and #Nin’s production house will create content ranging from films, online shows and documentaries. #MountZenMedia”

The couple who has been married for six years now will be now busy making films, online shows and documentaries and bringing new content on the table for the audience.  Earlier Aftab and Nin had also opened up their event company called ‘Saint’ in the year 2016.

On the work front, Aftab will soon be seen making his digital debut with ZEE5 web series ‘Poison 2’. Directed by Vishal Pandya, the series promises to be a good thriller which will keep you hooked to your seats. He will also be seen in the upcoming comedy film ‘Tom, Dick and Harry 2’ alongside Jimmy Shergill, Sharman Joshi, Sana Khan, Pooja Chopra and Amyra Dastur. The film is a sequel to 2006 film ‘Tom, Dick and Harry’.

Priyanka Chopra Jonas Joins 2020 Girl Up Leadership Summit

Actor Priyanka Chopra Jonas, who feels about women’s issues and has often taken up initiatives towards women empowerment, has joined the 2020 Girl Up Leadership Summit. The ‘Quantico’ actor is feeling all excited about it she took to her Instagram handle and announced the same.

Priyanka on her Instagram wrote, “No matter their background, girls have the power to transform themselves, their communities, and the world around them. @GirlUpcampaign is a global gender equality movement teaching girls to lead TODAY. International superstar Priyanka Chopra signs a two-year multimillion-dollar television deal with Amazon and expressed her excitement on social media.

Priyanka Chopra took to her social media and wrote a long post, which read, “YESSSS @amazonstudios, LET’S GET IT!!! So honored and excited to finally share this news with you. Looking ahead, we already have so much on our slate! Big thank you to @jsalke and her team at Amazon for being such great partners, and for sharing in the belief that talent and good content knows no boundaries.

“As both an actor and producer, I have always dreamt of an open canvas of creative talent coming together from all over the world to create great content irrespective of language and geography. Actor Priyanka Chopra Jonas remembers her parents’ service in the Indian Army as America observed Memorial Day. The actress shared an old picture of her parents in the uniform and posted it on social media.

Priyanka complimented the Memorial Day post by a note on how connected she feels to the military families as she also comes from the Army background. Gulabo Sitabo is a comedy-drama film directed by Shoojit Sircar, produced by Ronnie Lahiri and Sheel Kumar, and written by Juhi Chaturvedi. Set in Lucknow, it chronicles two warring men, landlord and tenant.

Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the film will not be released theatrically and will stream worldwide on Prime Video from 12 June 2020.

Priyanka Chopra Jonas celebrates First Monday in May : MET Gala LOOK 2020 with her niece

The much loved annual celebration of fashion, MET Gala which was scheduled to take place on first monday in May i.e. 4th May has been postponed due to widespread of the Corona Virus. But that did not stop the gorgeous Priyanka Chopra Jonas from celebrating it with her niece. The actress shared her cute MET Gala look 2020 creatively designed by her niece Sky Krishna.

The ‘Barfi’ actress took to instagram and shared her photos where her makeup is being done by her niece. She wrote, “First Monday in May. This year’s theme : Pretty Pretty Princess Glam and creative direction by : @sky.krishna. @divya_jyoti “

The pictures clearly show that PeeCee is spending quality time with her family in US. She is keeping herself busy by taking piano lessons and hip hop dance classes during this period. The actress also shared her workout video where she was lifting her niece Krishna while lying on the sofa. Krishna is her stylist Divya Jyoti’s daughter with whom Priyanka shares a good bond.

Theme for this year MET Gala is ‘About Time : Fashion and Duration’ which is partly inspired by Virgina Woolf and the theories of the French philosopher Henri Bergson. Priyanka’s looks for the MET Gala have always been appreciated over the years.

The actress who was here in India with her husband Nick Jonas for Holi Celebrations went back to US before the lockdown. The couple was recently a part of ‘I for India’ Fund Raiser concert which was live streamed at facebook on 3rd May 2020.
