Ever since the demise of Sushant Singh Rajput, a debate have been stirring about mental health, family and pressure, addressing the same, actress Kriti Sanon slammed social media stating it to be the “most toxic place.”

In a series of picture notes, Kriti Sanon wrote an elaborated post which sort of addresses the issue of pressure and negativity on social media. She captioned it, “There are a lot of thoughts crossing my mind.. A LOT! But for now this is all i wanna say!”

The post read, “It’s strange that the otherwise trolling, gossiping world suddenly wakes up to your niceness and positive side once you are gone..Social media is the FAKEST, most toxic place”

“If you haven’t posted RIP or said something publicly, you are considered not to be grieving, when in reality, those are the people grieving for REAL. It seems Social Media is the new ‘Real’ world…and the Real-world has become ‘Fake’,”

“We need to stop phrases like “ladke nahi rote”, “aise nahi rote”, “don’t cry, be strong”…Crying is not a sign of weakness…so cry your heart out, scream if you need to, know everything that you are feeling, its ok to not be ok, but talk it out with the one you feel might understand”

“Take your time to heal…Hold onto your family and people who genuinely love you and care about you…Never let them go…they are your strength and will be by your side no matter what…so LET them be around…no one is strong enough to battle life alone”

Rajput had allegedly died of suicide at his Bandra residence by hanging himself on Sunday, as per the police.

The untimely death of Rajput has sent shockwaves among celebrities and his fans. Scores of actors and public figures from all quarters expressed their condolences.

Sudden and unfortunate demise of actor Sushant Singh Rajput has left many wishing they could have reached out to him in time; one such friend is Kriti Sanon. The actress just took to her social media profile and wrote an emotional post for the late actor.

Kriti Sanon shared screen space with Sushant Singh Rajput in Raabta, a period romantic action drama directed by Dinesh Vijan in his directorial debut and co-produced by Homi Adajania and Bhushan Kumar.

The actress shared some candid stills and wrote, “Sush…I knew that your brilliant mind was your best friend and your worst enemy…but it has broken me completely to know that you had a moment in your life where Dying felt easier or better than Living. I so wish you had people around you to get you pass THAT moment, I wish you hadn’t pushed the ones who loved you away…I wish I could have fixed that something which was broken inside you…I couldn’t…I wish so so many things…A part of my heart has gone with you… and a part will always keep you alive…Never stopped praying for your happiness and never will”

Kriti Sanon was among few close-friends who attended Sushant Singh Rajput’s last rites in Mumbai despite heavy rains.

Apart from acting and running Innsaei Ventures, Rajput was actively involved in various programmes like Sushant4Education, as a part of efforts to help young students. NITI Aayog, the policy think-tank of the Indian government, signed him to promote the Women Entrepreneurship Platform (WEP). Rajput reportedly died by suicide at his home in Bandra, Mumbai.
