Taapsee Pannu Is All Set For The Shoot Of Her Upcoming Movie ‘Rashmi Rocket’

Getting back to work after a long pause gives a thrilling and exciting feeling. Actor Taapsee Pannu is all set to start shooting for her upcoming film ‘Rashmi Rocket’. Taking to her Instagram handle the ‘Pink’ actor announced that things are getting back on track. And will start shooting for the film in November of this year. Adding to it, Taapsee also shared the poster of her movie. In which she is seen in a typical Gujrati avatar.

Taapsee on her Instagram wrote, “Getting back on track, one lap at a time! #RashmiRocket to start shooting this November. #FridayWithRSVP”

Rashmi Rocket is a sports drama directed by Akarsh Khurana, it also features Priyanshu Painyuli. The film is produced by Ronnie Screwvala, Neha Anand, Pranjal Khandhdiya, It is written by Nanda Periyasamy.

Rashmi Rocket talks about the journey of a fictional Gujarati girl named Rashmi, who is a fast runner, and people from her village call her “Rocket”. Taapsee plays the main lead, her character in the film hails from Kutch in Gujarat and has to conquer her field despite many hurdles.

Meanwhile, on the work front, she was last seen in ‘Thappad’ helmed by filmmaker Anubhav Sinha. She will be next seen in an upcoming thriller ‘Haseen Dillruba.’

Anurag Kashyap Opens Up After Kangana’s Controversial Interview

Sushant Singh Rajput’s death has triggered the debate on nepotism in the industry and Kangana Ranaut is shooting the biggies of the industry left right and center. In her recent interview with Arnab Goswami, she spoke about how Taapsee Pannu and Swara Bhaskar are B grade actresses. She went very harsh on Karan Johar, Aditya Chopra and Mahesh Bhatt and blamed them for Sushant’s suicide. Now post watching her interview, Kangana’s old friend Anurag Kashyap has left an open message for her and her team.

In a series of tweets, Dev D. director Anurag Kashyap wrote, “I saw Kangana’s interview yesterday. She used to be a good friend of mine at one point of time. She used to come and motivate me with every film of mine. But I don’t know this new Kangana at all. I also saw one more scary interview of hers post Manikarnika release

She is not being shown the mirror and people are putting her head over heels, which is eventually finishing her. I don’t want to say anything else.  What rubbish is she talking? She is talking nonsense. This all will finish here itself. Because I respect her and this new kangana is becoming intolerable for me, others might not say but i will surely speak.

Anurag Kashyap in very clear words gave a word of advice to her that she should stop now. Actresses like Swara Bhaskar and Taapsee Pannu are also giving it back to her with their comments which is being supported by all. People are coming out and giving full support to them.

Now let us see if Kangana will pay a heed to Anurag Kashyap’s advice or will she backlash at him as well ?

Taapsee Pannu Gets Nostalgic, Shares Her PBL Victory Picture

Though for actor Taapsee Pannu year 2020 has been quite disturbing, the ‘Pink’ actor is trying to keep herself positive. Taapsee getting nostalgic shared a throwback picture of hers winning PBL (Premier Badminton League).

In the picture, Taapsee can be seen smiling affirmatively on her victory. Through the picture, she has also tried to impart the message that bad times don’t last for long. And one should not lose hope and be positive.

Actor Taapsee Pannu shared throwback picture showcasing the first look trial of the 2019 biographical film ‘Saand Ki Aankh’, calling it the biggest experiment of career.

Taapsee took to her social media and shared pictures of her transformation for the role of shooter granny. In the picture, Taapsee is seen wearing prosthetics to look like an elderly Haryanvi woman.

‘Saand Ki Aankh’ is a biographical movie based on Prakashi Tomar and Chandro Tomar — the octogenarians known as the world’s oldest sharpshooters from Johri village in Uttar Pradesh’s Baghpat. Both of them have various national championships to their names.

Meanwhile on the work front, Taapsee will star in the murder mystery Haseen Dillruba opposite Vikrant Massey, the athletic drama Rashmi Rocket opposite Aparshakti Khurana and the sports biopic Shabaash Mithu as cricketer Mithali Raj. In addition, she will team with Tahir Raj Bhasin for the drama Looop Lapeta.

Bollywood Demands #JusticeForJayarajAndFenix

While our country stood out for justice for American African man Geroge Floyd, an equally horrifying case has taken place in our country which has shaken everybody. Custodial death of father son duo Jayaraj and Fenix who owned a mobile shop in Sathankulam, Tamil Nadu has jolted the whole country.

They were brutally beaten up by the police for keeping their shop open for a few minutes more than the permitted time and eventually the two succumbed to death.

There is an outrage across the country after this incident and everyone is demanding justice for them. Many Bollywood Celebrities are also coming forward and tweeting for the same.

Priyanka Chopra has tweeted,”#JusticeForJayarajAndBennicks Reeling from what I’ hearing. Absolutely stunned, sad and angry. No human being deserves such brutality, whatever be their crime. The guilty must not be allowed to go unpunished. We need facts. I cannot even begin to imagine what the family must be going through. Sending strength and prayers. We need to use our collective voices to seek #JusticeForJayarajAndBennicks.”

Genelia Deshmukh wrote, “I am so shocked and pained and to a large extent just unsure, how we have become such a horrible race. This incident is so brutal, it actually breaks my heart..Just not done. #JusticeforJayarajAndFenix.”

Rakul Preet Singh tweeted, “This is heartbreaking. I am disgusted. This kind of brutality is inhuman and no one has the right to treat another life in this manner. Makes me sick to the stomach. Taapsee Pannu Is All Praises For Gulabo Sitabo

Actor Taapsee Pannu praises the quirky comic caper ‘Gulabo Sitabo’ starring Amitabh Bachchan and Ayushmann Khurrana.

Taapsee Pannu took to her social media profile and wrote, “Gibo Sibo is such a cute cute film. It’s like a feel good ride with some really good actors playing very engaging characters. ‘Gulabo Sitabo’ was slated to hit the screens on April 17 but could not see the light of day due to the shuttering of cinema theatres over coronavirus concerns. However, the makers of the movie released the quirky comedy on the online video streaming platform Amazon Prime Video.

On the work front, Taapsee was last seen in Anubhav Sinha’s ‘Thappad’ which garnered great reviews at the box office. She will next be seen in Vinil Mathew’s ‘Haseen Dilruba’ which is a mystery thriller film.

The film has been produced by Anand L Rai and Himanshu Sharma. The film is scheduled for theatrical release on 18th September 2020.

Meet Shoojit Sircar’s favourite character from the film ‘Gulabo Sitabo’

Be it a release in the theatres or over the OTT platforms, the whole cast and crew of the film remains nervous and excited before the release of their film. ‘Gulabo Sitabo’ is all set for its premiere on Amazon Prime on 12th June, 2020 and prior to it, the team is doing its best to promote the film. While the whole industry is busy taking up the ‘Gulabo Sitabo’ tongue twister challenge, director Shoojit Sircar shares his favourite character from the film.

Sharing the picture of the goat which plays an important role in the film, Shoojit Sircar writes, “#GiboSibo se toh aapki mulakat hogayi! Just days ahead of the release of the film, Amitabh Bachchan introduced a tongue twister challenge  as a part of the film promotion and since then it has been keeping the whole industry busy. Stars like Taapsee Pannu, Karan Johar, Varun Dhawan, Vicky Kaushal, Rajkummar Rao, Yami Gautam, Ishaan Khatter, Vikrant Massey have tried their best to ace the challenge.

Starring thespian Amitabh Bachchan and Ayushmann Khurrana, ‘Gulabo Sitabo’ is a story of eponymous glove puppet characters, Gulabo and Sitabo who reside in Uttar Pradesh.

It is a story full of local humour and songs depicting day to day struggle of a common man. Film is directed by ‘Piku’ fame Shoojit Sircar and written by Juhi Chaturvedi. It has been produced by Ronnie Lahiri and Sheel Kumar.

Film will be released tomorrow 12 June, 2020 on Amazon Prime Video.

Taapsee Pannu has carved a niche for herself in the Bollywood industry with the most interesting choice of films. Today, she is one of the most bankable actress in the industry who is rising high and higher with every new film of hers. The actress has now graced the second issue from the lockdown of Man’s World India magazine May Cover, all shot within the confines of her home.

The concept for the magazine cover was to shoot at various corners of her house like the kitchen, the bathroom, the living room, the balcony where she is spending most of her time during the lockdown but to jazz it up with the unique styling and clothing.
