Taapsee Pannu takes on a troll who warns Anubhav Sinha, ‘She can’t act’

Taapsee Pannu who is currently gearing up for the release of Saand ki Aankh is known to clap back at the trolls but this time she did it with humor. Taapsee has been giving hits back to back with releases like Pink, Manmarziyaan, Badla, Mulk, when she announced her next project with Article 15 director Anubhav Sinha, she was trolled as the actress who can’t act.

She then responded to a troll “Sorry yaar, ab toh sab kuch sign n seal ho chuka hai. Ab toh sir ko main hi nahi nikaalne dungi. But ek kaam karo, agli wali ke liye rok lo kyunki shayad woh bhi main lock karva lu jald hi. #TryAgain”.

The troll had tagged the director in his tweet saying, “@anubhavsinha sir I think u should caste some other actress.Taapsee doesn’t knows acting.”

Earlier last week post-release of Judgementall Hai Kya trailer, Taapsee was subjected to hate tweets when by Rangoli Chandel. Kangana’s sister called her out for not praising the lead actor’s efforts in the Ekta Kapoor production. Chandel went on to called her a ‘sasti copy’ of Kangana.

 

Last seen in Ashwin Sarvanan’s Game Over, her next releases include, Saand Ki Aankh with Bhumi Pednekar and Mission Mangal with Akshay Kumar and Vidya Balan.

Taapsee Pannu And Bhumi Pednekar shares stills from Saand Ki Aankh

Actress Taapsee Pannu and Bhumi Pednekar shares candid pictures of their respective characters from the forthcoming sports-biopic-drama ‘Saand Ki Aankh’ on social media.
Actress Taapsee Pannu, who will be seen playing the role of Medal winning sharpshooter Prakashi Tomar, captioned the picture, “Married at the age of 20, no dating life I’m sure…#PrakashiTomar #SaandKiAankh #ThisDiwali”
In the picture, Taapsee looks like a newly wedded bride, decked in all the ornaments. There’s a subtle calmness on her face, which is gripping enough to hold the attention of the viewer.
Actress Bhumi Pednekar will be seen playing the role of Chandro Tomar, captioned the picture, “#SAANDKIAANKH…गूदा है इनमे, बच्चे पालने का और गोलियाँ चलाने का। कभी नेल पोलिश ना पहनी, ना पहनी लाली, इनकी हिम्मत हैं इनका श्रिंघार और ये बंदूक़े ही है इनकी निशानी। @shooterdadi @realshooterdadi @taapsee @tushar1307 @nidhiparmar @anuragkashyap72 @RelianceEnt @itsvineetsingh @prakashjha27 @Shaadrandhawa”
In the still, Bhumi and Taapsee are seen target practicing and in the background, actor Vineet Kumar, who will be seen playing the role of their coach is seen guiding the sharpshooters of India.
The film is produced by Anurag Kashayap and directed by Tushar Hiranandani, ‘Saand Ki Aankh’ is based on two sharpshooters named Chandro Tomar and Prakashi Tomar.
The movie is slated to release on Diwali 2019.

​”Post Badla and Gameover, I Am Confident Now” says Taapsee Pannu

Actress Taapsee Pannu says though she is still trying to come to terms with the success of Gameover, but with back to back hits, she is confident now, on the sidelines of a movie screening here in Mumbai.

Taapsee Pannu kicked off 2019 with Badla, also starring Amitabh Bachchan and followed it with thriller Gameover, which opened with critical and commercial success.
Talking about back to back hits, Taapsee said, “I am still trying to digesting things, I mean, I am still reeling over the fact that this has happened and the film is getting this much appreciation. I think, I will able to come to terms with it, once the film runs for another week or so, you know, get a little older. I am really happy, I kicked off this year with Badla and now Gameover is doing well, so I am feeling really confident this year.”

The makers of Article 15 organised a special screening of the film for Bollywood and television celebrities. Apart from the cast and crew, the screening saw Shah Rukh Khan, Vicky Kaushal, Tabu, Neena Gupta, Swara Bhasker, Vijay Verma, Taapsee Pannu and many more at the venue.
Taapsee Pannu has worked with Article 15 director Anubhav Sinha in Mulk and says she knew about the film during those days. She said, “I know or knew about Article 15, since Mulk days. Director Anubhav Sinha spoke about the film, we have had discussions and now I am looking forward to watch the film and see, how all that discussions have translated on to the screen” Article 15 has kicked-off quite a ruckus with religious fringe groups, who are threatening filmmaker and stars with physical violence.

When asked about on-going controversy with the film, Taapsee said, “See a lot of people of say a lot of stuff, I mean people have said stuff about my films, so I am used to it by now. I cannot really say anything about it”
Next Taapsee Pannu will be seen sharing screen space with Bhumi Pednekar in Saand Ki Aankh, based on sharp shooting Olympians Chandro Tomar and Prakashi Tomar. The film is directed by Tushar Hiranandani and is slated to release on Diwali 2019.

Taapsee Pannu says “She feels like a sandwich stuffing between Salman Khan and Chris Hemsworth”

Taapsee Pannu who is gearing up for the release of Game Over, says she feels sandwiched between Salman Khan and Chris Hemsworth. Pannu’s Game Over will release post ‘Bharat’ and alongside ‘MIB International’ on June 14th.

The actress shared a picture posted by a fan which shows a distress Taapsee in the Game Over poster between, Salman Khan’s Bharat and Chris Hemsworth’s Men In Black International posters.

She added a comment to the tweet saying, “I feel like a sandwich stuffing! N my expression on the poster shall validate that!” The film presented by Anurag Kashyap will also release in Tamil and Telugu, apart from Hindi.

Directed by Ashwin Saravanan, the film has been produced by YNot Studios. While Salman Khan’s Bharat was mid-week release on last Wednesday the film is still going strong on the Box Office. The film was an Eid release which also marked  his biggest Eid opening and the biggest Bollywood opening of 2019. The film has crossed a collection of 50 crores.

On the other hand, Men in Black: International release on June 14th will star Liam Nesson and Tess Thompson along with Marvel’s Thor ‘Chris Hemsworth’.

Taapsee Pannu is a force to reckon with, she has proved her metal with her nuanced performances across all genres, and now looks stunning on the latest cover spread of leading magazine cover.
The actress Tapsee Pannu is looking stunning, gorgeous and classic on the February cover of The Peacock Magazine. The official handle of the magazine dropped the cover on social media.
They captioned it, “Coup de foudre Is love at first sight with this power house performer @taapsee renditioning as a modern Indian couture bride for the #februaryissue of @thepeacockmagazine_”
On the cover the actress is sporting a stunning outfit by Falguni Shane Peacock with Jewellery by Neha Lulla and make up by Savleen Manchanda, the actress looks like a dream on the cover.
Taapsee has emerged as the new-age Bollywood starlet over the last few years. Her seamless transition between the girl-next-door and a power pact protagonist, speaks volumes for her versatility.
On the work front, Taapsee Pannu is currently promoting her second out with Amitabh Bachchan, titled Badla, the film is directed by Sujoy Ghosh. It is a crime thriller film produced by Red Chillies Entertainment in association with Azure Entertainment. It is slated to release on 8 March 2019.
She is also shooting for “Saand Ki Aankh” which also stars Bhumi Pednekar and Prakash Jha in leading roles.

Bollywood performing artist, Taapsee Pannu has been around for quite a while. In any case, and I’m embarrassed to concede, that we paid heed to this skilled young lady just post ‘Pink’. It was just when she was carried alongside the Shahenshah, Amitabh Bachchan, that we saw her for her identity and not only a singing/moving prop around “A” rundown performers. Be that as it may, as Taapsee stated, be your own saint. Much obliged lady, we owe you enormous!
