Matt Damon Starrer ‘Stillwater’ Trailer Is Out

The first official trailer of Stillwater is out and superstar Matt Damon plays a roughneck from Oklahoma who travels to Marseilles to try to exonerate his daughter. The film also stars Abigail Breslin and Camille Cottin.

McCarthy co-wrote the Stillwater screenplay with Marcus Hinchey, Thomas Bidegain, and Noé Debré. The director is also a producer on the project along with Steve Golin, Jonathan King, and Liza Chasin.

The movie follows an American oil-rig roughneck from Oklahoma who travels to Marseille to visit his estranged daughter, in prison for a murder she claims she did not commit.

Confronted with language barriers, cultural differences, and a complicated legal system, Bill builds a new life for himself in France as he makes it his personal mission to exonerate his daughter.

The movie was originally scheduled for release last fall, but the pandemic caused the movie to be delayed until this summer. Focus Features has set Stillwater for theatrical release on July 30, 2021.

Bhumi Pednekar Drops Dolly Kitty Aur Woh Chamakte Sitare Trailer

After unveiling a series of posters, the makers of Dolly Kitty Aur Woh Chamakte Sitare’ are out with a quirky trailer starring Konkona Sen Sharma and Bhumi Pednekar in the lead roles, as cousins.

Bhumi Pednekar dropped the trailer on her social media profile. She captioned it, “#DollyKittyAurWohChamakteSitare. We are good girls. Meow-ing my way into your life on the 18th of September #Kitty #DollyKittyAurWohChamakteSitare”

The story chronicles the journey of two cousins – Dolly (Konkana) and Kitty (Bhumi) as they explore their freedom to live their ideal lives. The trailer shows Dolly as a bickering wife who is sexually dissatisfied with her husband, who later on dates a pizza delivery guy.

On the other hand, Kajal aka Kitty is a small-town girl who comes to Noida, expecting all her dreams to come true. She joins job in a BPO as a cyber-lover under the name Kitty on a dating app and meets a man post which she gets involved in a relationship. It showcases how the two cousins explore their freedom in terms of their relationship.

The movie also features Kubbra Sait, Karan Kundra, Amol Parashar and Vikrant Massey.

Directed by Alankrita Shrivastava and is produced by Ekta Kapoor and Shobha Kapoor, the film has already got rave reviews from critics and audiences at various film festivals worldwide. The film is set to be released on September 18 on Netflix.

Warner Bros Drops Extended Trailer Of Tenet

Right before the theatrical release of Tenet, the makers drop an extended trailer of Christopher Nolan’s much awaited sci-fi action thriller.

The official handle of Warner Bros. India dropped the new extended trailer. The caption read, “Time is running out. #TENET only in cinemas”

Tenet is a sci-fi spy thriller film written and directed by Christopher Nolan, who produced it with Emma Thomas. A co-production between the United Kingdom and United States, the film stars John David Washington, Robert Pattinson, Elizabeth Debicki, Dimple Kapadia, Michael Caine, and Kenneth Branagh.

Nolan took more than five years to write the screenplay after deliberating about Tenet’s central ideas for over a decade.

Delayed three times due to the COVID-19 pandemic, Tenet is scheduled to be released by Warner Bros. Pictures in 70 international territories on August 26, 2020, and in select cities across the United States on September 3, 2020, in IMAX, 35 mm, and 70 mm.

The film received generally positive reviews from critics, with some favourably comparing it to Nolan’s Inception and praising the cast’s performances, though some lamented the confusing plot.

The film will stream on 28th August, the tragic-comic tale of Ramsingh, as a Charlie Chaplin impersonator who performs in a travelling circus. He is unexpectedly thrown into the bigger circus of life where he has to now juggle between his role as a father and that of a performer, all without a safety net.

Facing a crisis of confidence as an artist, he must now brave the odds for one last shot at the sparkling lights of show business. He loses a little of himself in a world that has little space for dreams. Along the journey he realises that to do what he wants, he’ll do what he has to do.

Kumud Mishra, known for his roles in Bollywood blockbusters like Rockstar and Airlift, delivers the performance of his life as Charlie, blending pathos and comedy into a bravura package.

Netflix’s Project Power Trailer Is Out

Jamie Foxx and Joseph Gordon-Levitt starrer Netflix’s Project Power trailer is out and this one plays around with some super powered chemistry; with a very big catch.

Directed by Henry Joost and Ariel Schulman, Project Power focuses on a drug named, aptly enough, “Power.” With the ability to give anyone who takes it superpowers, such as invisibility or the generation of fire and/or ice, it’s a perky pill that only gives the user five minutes of marvelous abilities. And the biggest twist is – you never know what your power will be until you try the drug for yourself.

That’s apparently enough of a risk though, as a kingpin (Westworld’s Rodrigo Santoro) is looking to go into business trafficking this stuff hardcore. It’s up to Jamie Foxx’s ex-soldier and Joseph Gordon-Levitt’s cop to bust this operation up and, with the help of a young Power dealer (Dominique Fishback), they’re going to take their fight to their enemies.

Not only is Netflix getting into the superhero game with Project Power, but they’re doing so with a pretty big distinction from most of the competition.

Shakuntala Devi’s Trailer Will Be Out Tomorrow Confirms Vidya Balan

Due to the coronavirus pandemic, it is uncertain to release the movie theatrically. But to release on digital platforms seems to be the way forward.

The biopic on Shakuntala Devi, featuring National Award-winning actress Vidya Balan, will premiere on Amazon Prime Video soon. The much-awaited film based on the life of Devi, known as the human-computer, the trailer will be out tomorrow.

Actor Vidya Balan to announce the same took to her Instagram handle and announced the release date of the trailer. The ‘Dirty Picture’ actor sharing the teaser of the movie revealed the trailer to hit tomorrow and will digitally release on 31st July.

Shakuntala Devi is an upcoming biographical film directed and written by Anu Menon and produced by Sony Pictures Networks and Vikram Malhotra under his banner Abundantia Entertainment. The film is based on the life of famous mathematician Shakuntala Devi, who was nicknamed the “human computer”.

Apart from Vidya Balan, the film also stars Sanya Malhotra, Amit Sadh, and Jisshu Sengupta in significant roles. Vidya Balan will be portraying the role of Shakuntala Devi.

The film is scheduled to release on Amazon Prime video on 31 July 2020.

The film is a perfect blend of love and the gangster culture, it is set in Uttar Pradesh and Nepal, at the centre of the film, are the two men who built the gang, lifelong friends Phagun (Vidyut Jamwal) and Mitwa (Amit Sadh).

After their gang is busted by the police, the four members of the gang decide to own up and spend time in prison before being released. Yaara is based on the downfall of the Chokdi gang. It is set in 1970 and the story revolves around the robbery operations and smuggling.

This film is a heart-warming saga about two notorious criminals and how they combat their friendship in the most difficult times. This movie is a classic example of what happens when your friendship is put to test and you have to choose between, family values and also distinguish between the moral compasses!

21 Million Hits And Support From Fraternity, Dil Bechara Trailer Goes Viral

The trailer of late actor Sushant Singh Rajput’s last film ‘Dil Bechara’ was released yesterday and it went viral. The trailer didn’t just receive a massive 21 million hits but got massive support and love from fraternity.

Bollywood celebrities such as Mrunal Thakur, Farhan Akhtar, Bhumi Pednekar, Kriti Sanon and more shared and praised the trailer on social media.

Dil Bechara is a coming-of-age romantic drama film which is the directorial debut of Mukesh Chhabra. Based on John Green’s 2012 novel The Fault in Our Stars, it stars Sushant Singh Rajput, Saif Ali Khan and debutante Sanjana Sanghi.

The film’s release has been postponed multiple times, due to post-production delays and then again due to the COVID-19 pandemic in India. It will release on 24 July 2020 on Disney+ Hotstar.

Directorial debut of casting director Mukesh Chhabra, the official remake of Shailene Woodley and Ansel Elgort’s The Fault In Our Stars, Dil Bechara casts Sushant and debutante Sanjana Sanghi as two youngsters battling cancer with a stoic aplomb. The two fall for one another while bonding over music and movies.

While Sushant’s cancer is in remission, Sanjana’s Kizie tries to distance her from himself so as not to hurt him. They then go on an adventure to Paris, which cements their bond further.

The film will release on Disney+ Hotstar on July 24. The streaming platform has made the film available for free as a tribute to Sushant who died on June 14.

Trailer for ‘An American Pickle’ Is Out

The first ever original film of HBO Max ‘An American Pickle’ starring Seth Rogen trailer got released yesterday. The film is a comedy film set to make its premiere on the platform on 6th August.

The story revolves around Rogen playing Herschel Greenbaum, a Polish ditch digger who wants to fulfill his American dream and therefore immigrates to the US in 1920. Here he finds work at a pickle factory where accidentally he falls into a vat of brine and gets preserved for 100 years.

He emerges out of the brine after 100 years in 1920 to be with Ben, his great grandson, his only remaining relative- who is also played by Rogen. The two of them find it difficult to relate to each other as Herschel’s goals in life do not meets with Ben’s goals.

The film which is a tale of two generations coming together is based on Simon Rich’s short story, “Sell Out,” which was published in The New Yorker in 2013. Brandon Trost directs the comedy which also features Sarah Snook, Sean Whalen, Jorma Taccone, Joanna Adler, Jeff Daniel Philips, Geoffrey Cantor, David Mattey, Charles Rogers and Kevin O’Rourke.

“An American Pickle” will premiere on HBO Max on 6th August, 2020.
