Alia Bhatt who is gearing up for the release of her upcoming film Kalank says the promotions have just begun, big things are yet to happen.
Alia interacted with media at the Red Carpet of The Reel Awards 2019′ on Tuesday.
Bhatt was last seen at the Gaiety Galaxy performing live on ‘First Class’ for her fans alongside Varun Dhawan on the theater’s rooftop. The two created a frenzy online among fans when the videos went viral. Praising the amazing idea when media asked what more extraordinary will happen during Kalank she said, ” We have only just released the second song from the film. The title track will be out soon, which according to me is an amazing track and one of my favorites in the album. This is just the beginning there is a lot more yet to happen.”
The Reel Awards is a clear departure from the usual high-budget, star-studded awards that took place in the month. From Zee Cine Awards to Filmfare. Reel Awards have this year too nominated some groundbreaking and deserving line-ups.
Talking about the Awards unique initiative to appreciate low budgeted films, Alia said, ” I am very excited to be here, very honored and privileged to be in a room filled with these amazingly beautiful and talented people. I think this is a very great initiative to award films that are made under a certain budget.
At times people say certain films are for niche, we kind of contain the budget for releasing because we think the more tighter the film is the better it will do but, less budget films like Raazi, Stree, Badhaai Ho have all done so well and gotten so much love commercially.”
The nominated films and cast at the Reel Awards had, ‘Raazi’, leading the pack this time with 13 nominations, including Best Film, Best Director for Meghna Gulzar and Best Actor (Female) for Alia Bhatt. Other films nominated in Best Film category were Badhaai Ho, Stree, AndhaDhun and Tumbbad.
Alia will be seen in two big budgeted multistarrer releases including Kalank and Bramhastra.
