Vicky Kaushal recently revealed the look from his upcoming film where he will be seen as the Field Marshal, Sam Manekshaw. The film is said to be directed by Meghna Gulzar who is currently busy working on Deepika Padukone’s Chhapaak.
The actor shared the a picture online wearing a Indian military uniform with a thick mustache and deep grey eyes, facing the camera. He can be seen in an office at a desk. He captioned the image as, “I feel honoured, emotional and proud of getting a chance to unfold the journey of this fearless patriot, the swashbuckling general, the first Field Marshal of India- SAM MANEKSHAW. The untitled project is said to be written by Bhavani Iyer (Raazi) and Shantanu Srivastava (Badhaai Ho) and will be produced by Ronnie Screwvala. It will go on floors in 2021.
Sam Manekshaw was a hero during the Indo-Pakistan war of 1971 and was later promoted to the rank of a field marshal by Indira Gandhi. Vicky is currently busy shooting for Udham Singh biopic and will also be seen in Bhoot along side Bhumi Pednekar.
