Arjun Kapoor is all set to explore historic war drama with his forthcoming period film Panipat. The actor is leaving no-stone unturned to get into proper shape for the role and shares a heartfelt note about struggle with weight.
The actor took to his social media profile and shared two candid stills, Arjun Kapoor is looking leaner, muscular and even more dapper in his new avatar.
He wrote, “It’s been a tough journey for me ever since I was a kid when it comes to my battle with obesity. Everyone has their own struggles I have had and continue to have mine. But the whole point of life is that we fall, we get back up and try again… efforts will pay off eventually if not today then in a week month or even a year…I started training with @shivohamofficial this January and slow and steady we have managed to At least lay a foundation during our prep for Panipat”

After the release of India’s Most Wanted, Arjun Kapoor has started training for his upcoming projects. The film is directed by Ashutosh Gowarikar. The period war drama is based on the Third Battle of Panipat, between the Marathas (led by Sadashiv Rao Bhau) and the Afghans (led by Ahmad Shah Durrani).
The film also stars Kriti Sanon and Sanjay Dutt in the leading roles.
Apart from Panipat, the actor has ‘Sandeep Aur Pinky Faraar’ opposite Parineeti Chopra in his kitty. The film is helmed by Dibakar Banerjee, it is a romantic thriller. The film follows the story of a man and woman who represent two completely different Indians.
