Actor Manoj Bajpayee celebrated his 50th Birthday with his wife and close friends, here in Mumbai. During his media interaction the National Award Winning actor said he is grateful to life.
Veteran Manoj Bajpayee started his film journey with a blink-and-miss role in 1994’s film “Droh Kaal”. His initial journey in Bollywood was full of struggle and hardship. But it was his dedication that helped him make a mark in his career.
He rose to fame with his role of a gangster in “Satya” and later featured in hit films like “Shool”, “Zubeidaa” and “Pinjar”.
So when asked about what did he learn in last year, as his new year is starting, Manoj said, “I don’t know about learning, seriously there is nothing to learn. We are actors, we work film to film, we live moment to moment, and I think that is the best way to go. As far as learning goes, every year comes with a new surprise, whether happiness or sadness, or some difficulty, you work through it or celebrate it, and then move forward. You always feel grateful to life”
Manoj Bajpayee is married to actress Neha, who believes that her husband is happy when he is working with good filmmakers.
She said, “I think with Manoj, when he meets good directors and works with good directors, he will so rejuvenated. It is lovely to be around Manoj when is happy working. So I think last year was quite good”
On the work front, Manoj is now looking forward to the release of his web show “The Family Man” along with American release Dhaka.
Dhaka is directed by Sam Hargrave from a screenplay by Joe Russo. It will star Chris Hemsworth, David Harbour, Manoj Bajpai, Pankaj Tripathi, Golshifteh Farahani and Randeep Hooda.
