Vivek Oberoi starrer PM Narendra Modi was supposed to release on 5th April but the film faced a set back when the film’s release was opposed. But the lead actor has now announced the new release date of the film as 11th April.
Vivek shared the news with his fans on twitter, he wrote, “Thank you to each and every one of you for your blessings, love, and support. Thank you to the Indian Judiciary. We hope you like the film and that it inspires you all! #PMNarendraModi Jai Hind @OmungKumar @sandip_Ssingh @sureshoberoi @anandpandit63 @TSeries ”
Directed by Omung Kumar ‘PM Narendra Modi’ the film will traverse the journey of Narendra Modi from his humble beginnings as chai walla to becoming the Prime Minister of India.
PM Modi has been surrounded by controversies since the first poster and trailer came out, people have also gone as far as to say the film is propaganda. But in an interview the filmmaker Omung Kumar said, “How can it be propaganda when nobody asked me to make the film. Nobody has influenced me when making the film, this film is about a person and his inspiring journey.”
Produced by Suresh Oberoi and Anand Pandit, the film’s release has been postponed, to 11th April.
