The makers finally confirm the name of Sunny Kaushal, Nushrat Bharucha and Vijay Varma starring romantic drama, helmed by Nikhil Nagesh Bhatt. The film is titled Hurdang.
Hurdang is being touted as a love story set in the backdrop of 1990s, a time when the youth fought for their rights and spent a great deal of time to find self-realisation and had a strong desire to stand up and grab and stand up for the rights.
Producer of the film, Shaailesh R Singh, who is bankrolling Mental Hai Kya and Jabariya Jodi dropped the confirmation of the film. He tweeted, “Here is our next #Hurdang with very talented @sunnykaushal89 @nusratchirps @MrVijayVarma #july #Prayagraj”
Gully Boy famed actor Vijay Varma also shared his excitement. He tweeted, “Let’s go back to the 90s @ShaaileshRSingh @sunnykaushal89 @NushratBharucha and team #Hurdang”
Vijay is also set to star in Mira Nair’s A Suitable Boy, which is his first international project. He will be seen playing the character of Rasheed, a student at Brahmpur University and also an Arabic teacher. The shooting of the series is set to begin this September.
Before Hurdang, Sunny Kaushal will be seen romancing newcomer Rukshar Dhillon in Bhangra Paa Le and he will seen romancing Radhika Madan in yet another love story titled Shiddat. The film also stars Diana Penty and Mohit Raina.
